“She's lying. Not too long ago, I did a Google search looking at pictures of her and came across an article written by a British journalist who got close with her in the 80's, hung out with her, and compiled interviews with her. There were pictures of the two ladies together and Welch mentions beginning cosmetic surgery back in the 60's, saying something to the effect that if you begin plastic surgery at a younger age before things go south, you won't look fake and you'll only need "touch ups" now and then. Welch also came across as vain and insecure at the same time. She even sounded like a bit of a tramp too.”

“Her cheeks look a bit puffed up but she is still looking good.”

“She sill looks good though. Most with surgery take it to far. Either that or not as good as her surgeon if she has one.”

“Obviously, she's had work done to still look that good at her age. The difference being that she's never had that unnatural look from cosmetic surgery that 99% of its recipients do.”

scorpiascorpio on Nov 18, 2013 at 01:01:44

“Yes she's still gorgeous, but I think she looks a bit stretched in the face to me; at least in this picture. She looks like she's forcing that smile on her face; I qualify that as being "unnatural."”

Does she have a zipper running down her back? and legs? Nah. Seriously look. Beatiful. I just pray when her death comes, its as graceful as her.”

I never said I was a fan of Cruz. I just corrected your false post about whether his declining government healthcare had saved the taxpayer's money, which it did. In fact, while I abhor the mess that is Obamacare, I thought the shutdown was ridiculously stupid. It had already passed into law. it was a little late for a shutdown over it.”

“You've refuted nothing I said. He works for the taxpayers and he opted out of taxpayer-funded insurance, thereby saving them money. Are you mathematically challenged in your inability to see that?

Who ever said that the Texas taxpayers pay his salary alone? I never did. Learn to read. The taxpayers of the country pay his salary and by skipping insurance, he saves them money. Indisputable fact, or do you still need that diagram?

All politicians run their mouth. That is what they do. The difference being that you don't like what comes out of his.”

He's a loud mouth who just like the do nothing loud mouths before him, Alan West and Joe Walsh, will be a one term Senator. “There is no constitutional right to free healthcare for all. The country is 17 trillion in debt already. While I feel the shutdown was dumb, Obamacare is terrible. It will put the country further into debt and create more deadbeats by giving even more free goodies. Government freebies take away the incentive to work for yourself and go out and find a fulltime job with health benefits.”

“He's not denying anyone healthcare. Most Americans were already covered by employer plans, Medicare, and Medicaid. He only sought to deny a further and frivolous expansion of Medicaid to those who didn't qualify due to lack of a disability. The government(taxpayers) can't afford to be all things to all people. There is no constitutional right to free health care.

As for the shutdown, I disagreed with it. Sadly, Obamacare passed already, so shutting the government down over something that already passed and was signed into law was idiotic. It's like the kid that loses a game saying "that doesn't count, do-over".”

“The operative part of what you've written is he works for the TAX PAYERS, like ever other government worker. TAX PAYER's pay his salary, collectively, his salary is paid for by the US TAX PAYERS, not just the Texas tax payer alone.

As for getting paid for what he does, what in the Hell has he done but run his mouth? Maybe he should get paid based upon what he get's done which would be nothing. He's a taker, not a maker.”

While I don't like either party, if you think the GOP is a "terrorist organization", we are so far apart I don't think we'll ever find common ground on politics. Although, I think the Democratic Party has a lot of traitorous Marxists within its ranks and I feel the left has destroyed the social fabric of this country since the late 60's.

I do agree with you on the mood subject. I rarely have the patience to entertain the left wing point of view and typically attack when I see it. I love blasting holes through points of view I disagree with.

It seems we're very, very differently politically and always will be, but not very different in our methods. LOL”

“Cops are taught, just like the military, to aim for center mass, because limb and head shots are extremely difficult to make on a distant or moving target. Also, with the exception of head shots, center mass shots are much, much more likely to stop someone than a limb shot.

It's obvious you've never shot a gun before or had any training with one, military, police, or otherwise.”

“I used to teach a citizen police academy class on this issue. Funny how all the people said, just shoot the bad guy in the leg, arm etc. Under stress, they were lucky to get their gun out of their holster. They ones with gun experience in scenario situations, were luck to hit the bad guy at all. And we are talking about 21 feet here. At 21 feet, they were not able to get the gun out of their holster before i was able to filet them open with a fake knife, even though I told them what i was going to do, which most cops dont get that luxory.”

“It's a tragedy that an innocent child is dead but did anyone see the comparison the police showed with a real AK-47? It was a mistake anyone could make. They boy had no history of mental incompetence so I think a reasonable question is 'why didn't he drop the gun when ordered'? Why did he turn it their way and start to raise it up? Look at it from the policeman's perspective: kids this age have committed murder. Remember earlier this year or late last year when some 10-11-year-old murdered his father by shooting him with the rifle/shotgun?

It's a tragedy and the city will pay a settlement but I can understand the perspective of the police here.”

In my opinion the present form of the GOP is the oldest and largest terrorist organization targeting Americans. And since they prove it every . . .single . . .day, I don't often find myself in the mood to allow for other points of view. Makes for good discussions . . . or a couple of dismissive one liners. Again, depends on the person. I do not see myself slinging arrows, but I do consistently knock a big hole in the sanctimonious attitudes I come across on this post. “The fact that he is on his wife's health plan is a point in favor of this guy. It's certainly not hypocritical, unless you have no reasoning ability, are mentally ill, or possess an under-75 IQ. It's quite consistent with his Tea Party views. Instead of charging the taxpayers of this country for one of the Congressional platinum-level plans that our House and Senate members receive, his wife's private employer takes care of it. That saves taxpayer money. Cruz and his family are not on the taxpayer dole in that regard.

His shutdown ideas may have been foolish, but I can't knock him for this.

You mentioned many factors being included to get the grant, but one of them was participation in Common Core. That's the point. No Common Core, no chance of federal grant money.
