“The screen could have been bigger than earth and I still would have hated it. lol I watched it on my 3D 60" Hi def flat screen tv and it could not save it. Just thinking about it makes me cringe. The only thing I liked was the visuals and effects. It should have never been nominated for anything other than those categories.”

“Lord knows why, it was horrible! I want my money back and I got a free on demand credit from U-Verse too watch it! The acting and dialogue was so bad it almost made me hate Sandra Bullock and I LOVe Sandra Bullock. It was like watching Speed in space but worse. Glad it didn't win Best picture. Why!?”

“To really appreciate this film you had to have seen it in IMAX3D. I felt like I was in space. That said, the movie itself wasn't great. The cinematography was top notch.”

“I actually haven't watched it at home yet, but in the theater (as these movies are meant to be seen, heard, and experienced) it was fantastic. I'll have to rent it and check it out at home to see if it loses some or all of it's appeal on the small screen.”

“Actually a lot of us heard it and loved it. I know it's hard to believe but we are not all ignorant. I live in the DFW area and have watched Dale for years. He calls it like he see's it, always has. Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio are quite progressive. I have no kind words for the rest. :)”
“You are using stereotypes of what you think an unemployed person is. I know many people, myself included, that worked hard since they were teens, got a college degree, and still lost their jobs or can not currently find one. Did you ever take Social Psychology? In that college course it clearly lays out that there are simply not enough jobs for everyone who needs one.
The reason I brought up the Church issue was it is usually right leaning conservative Christians that have something ugly and negative to say about the poor or unemployed. It sounds so unlike your Jesus. He would have never advocated attitudes such as yours.
Anything can happen to your "business" and your situation can change at any time. Just hope that people do not view you as unworthy of a helping hand.

“Its funny to me how you blasted me for using stereotypes for unemployed people, and yet in the next paragraph, you stereotyped Christians as conservative, ugly and negative.
I never took a class in Social Psychology. I was busy taking meaningful classes. I was on unemployment for a month or so in 2009. I lost my job. I went out and found another job quickly and went off of unemployment. I pay into unemployment with my paycheck, so I have no issue with taking some of that money out if necessary.
As I clearly state in my point, there are people who need and deserve it. There needs to be better checks and balances. In my area, 3 people were recently arrested for unemployment fraud, one of which scammed the government out of over $20,000. Its not the good people who need it that you're defending, its those people taking advantage that you are defending. Not all people scam the system, but there is many who view unemployment as a career option.
Think about your prejudices. There are many Christians that are "bad eggs," but hating on over a billion people isn't just factually incorrect, it would be like saying Islam is evil because of the terrorists. Atheism is evil because some like yourself have significant prejudices against organized religion, and use it against others as a weapon.”
“It's attitudes like yours that is the problem. How do u sleep at night? Bet u go to church every Sunday too. UGHHHHHHHHHHH!”

“I sleep well in the bed that I bought with hard work, dedication, getting a college education, a good job, purchasing a business, running it successfully, and being able to pay 17 other people good pay for doing a good job as my employees.
What's your point about going to church? I mean, I don't go regularly, but are you really anti-church? Why? You have no problem with people who take advantage of unemployment, but oh man, if you go to church, you're what's wrong with this country?
“Actually a couple is complete without having children because they are already a unit. Remember the couple is the foundation of a family. Without that foundation there is no stability. It truly is up to that couple if they want to add kids to the mix but they are already complete.”
“They are really tasty and I have only been there twice but people mistakenly think it is healthy and it is not. Most items on the menu counts for your whole day of calorie intake. You basically have to order lettuce, tomatoes, one kernel of corn and a bean.”
“Umm no. There was such a thing as living wage jobs that were created and existed. Everyone is not an entrepreneur and a trust fund baby. It is so wrong to assume that they are not hard working or willing. Why is there such a disconnect for the plight of today's youth?”

“This started under Reagan. The Great Recession started under GWB. Democrats always have to come after u guys and clean up their messes. Just say thank u to Presidents like FDR, Kennedy, Clinton and now Obama. We won twice so get over it. Our bad.”
“So what is so wrong with her doing what she loves and has passion for? Do u want a surgeon who hates her job operating on you? Life is not always about a paycheck or working on Wall St. We can't all go for the same professions in life then we would all be out of a job. It is ok to have a diverse workforce.”

“Nobody is saying they shouldn't be a Marine Biologist. But if you DO choose that, expect to work at McDonalds if you plan on living in Utah.”
“Many of these "kids" are flipping burgers, waiting and busting tables already. You do realize that these jobs do not pay enough to pay rent, bills, and not to mention the school loans. Earlier generations had manufacturing, pensions, and job security for 30 plus years. Those days are over so let's give these young adults some credit and some consideration.”

“The. They need to go out and create those living wages like the generation before them that did not depend on some job waiting for them. They went out and created a living for themselves.”
“I don't know which one is worse, the unfettered greed that has caused this or the silly lemmings that vote and support them. It would be laughable if it wasn't so sad to watch the people who will never see this type of wealth defend the wealthy to the death.
If one mentions income inequality they scream the words communist, socialist and my all time fave jealousy. Nah, I just want Americans to be paid what they are worth, have job security, house security, health security, and a nice retirement so I won't have to eat cat food in my old age.
Looks like the people who vote and support this are worse than the greedy.”
