Trayvon Martin: Lawyer Raises Questions About Role Of Shooter's Ex-Judge Father In Investigation

Commented Apr 6, 2012 at 16:52:14 in Black Voices

“Zimmerman was not wearing a police uniform and was not a police officer. Didn’t Trayvon have to right to protect himself in fear for his life because he was being followed and stalked. Why doesn’t this law apply for him? It would certainly explain why he needed to fight Zimmerman.”

“Apparently, Trayvon's rights does not count. Your post shows good common sense. F&F.”

“My Granddaddy was a Southern Baptist preacher who carried a switchblade. He always told us, if you can get out of a fight, do it. If you see where you have to fight, you'd better pass the first lick & make it the only lick in the fight! With this new story (about Trayvon going for his gun), Z thought Trayvon could be frightened into obedience after deliberately "flashing" his gun. Daddy said "his boy" was reaching for his cell phn; riiiiight :-(”

“Absolutely, Thetruth. How did Trayvon know that this hulking stalker freak was not a deranged pedophile or serial killer?

As we now know, he WAS in fact a cold blooded murdering vigilante. Faved by your first fan!”

“Trayvon did have the right. Unfortunately G thug Z was armed with a loaded 9mm pistol. The law does apply to him. The GZ er's will tell you Z had the right to shoot because he feared for his life despite the FACT there are no injuries. There's a lot more to it but”

“Only according to civilized people, those supporting GZ said Trayvon had no rights after all he was black. Most of us tell our kids to respect authority but to run or scream when someone looks like they will hurt you. Trayvon's phone was knocked out of his hand, his friend lost the connection. If you are pushed or shoved by a stranger what would you do ? Someone had a gun who shouldn't have had one, we know what he did.”
