“He's absolutely right. I did not see the remake for that very reason. There was no need for it to be made other than to make money. I'm not a Tim Burton fan, either. I've never understood his success, because his movies are always so dreary. Love Gene Wilder!”

“I've been re-watching episodes of Friends recently, and comparing her then to how she looks in the photos in this article, I'd say she's adding fillers to her face, and it is NOT a good look. Her face looks like a fat chipmunk's face now. I don't understand why women do that.”

Ben Ro on Jun 10, 2013 at 16:12:53

“I thought the same thing. She once was cute but her face looks strange now. I wish women would just age naturally, I think they look better.”

“That is likely what it is. Whenever I read about stories like this, I just feel sorry for whoever is propagating the latest UFO fantasy. Not that I don't believe there could be other forms of life out in the universe, I believe there probably could be - but this is not it. This looks exactly as you describe - a mummified human fetus.”

Two-Year-Old Throws Tantrum And Gets Kicked Off JetBlue Flight

Commented Mar 12, 2012 at 14:35:41 in Parents

“I just watched the Today Show video, and this woman is a flaky mess who has no clue how to deal with her children. It's painfully obvious why they were kicked off the flight!! The pilot absolutely made the correct decision. She has no control over her daughters whatsoever. I mean, they couldn't even sit still and be quiet for a 5-minute Today Show spot! I also noticed that she didn't even bother to brush their hair prior to appearing on national TV - that speaks volumes about her parenting, or the lack thereof. Her husband does not appear to be much help, either. Some people should not have had kids. It sounds mean of me to say all this, but it's true. She needs to hire a nanny or some other professional to help her with them, because as it stands they are turning into little monsters.”

FrankieAnon on Mar 12, 2012 at 15:58:02

“However you feel about what the pilot and flight attendants decided, this is such a sexist comment! Why is it just the mother's responsibility to parent her children? Why is the husband relegated to a "helper" role? "She" needs to hire a nanny? What about "they"? This is the 21st century. Both parents raise the kids these days. Both are to blame, if blame is in order.”

amoureux des chats on Mar 12, 2012 at 15:44:16

“I have to say in response that although I missed the Today show interview (I was watching "Morning Joe" instead), I saw the mother in an interview aired during Tamryn Hall's show on MSNBC, and the woman struck me as articulate and reasonable. "Flaky mess"? Really? I'll have to look for a clip of the Today interview to see if my judgment would have been nearly so harsh. I'm relatively certain, though, that I wouldn't conclude from a brief interview that someone's preschool children are becoming "little monsters." Perhaps you've been lucky enough to have never experienced a child's meltdown in public (I've seen it happen in well-adjusted and/or highly intelligent children that age), but I can assure you that it's normal behavior until around the ages 4 o4 5. (You might want to check out the Mayo Clinic's piece on the topic: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/tantrum/HQ01622.) Unfamiliar environments can be especially strong triggers of tantrums for many children in this age group, so I'm going to have to cut the parents a lot of slack on this one.”

“You are absolutely right. That's exactly the kind of person she is. Southern fake. Savannah is full of them. I moved here from the northeast 11 years ago. While Savannah may be one of the most beautiful cities in the U.S., sadly - as far as race relations go - the Jim Crow laws might as well still be in effect. And Paula Deen is one of the biggest offenders. At her restaurant, all the people who work the front of the house are white, and the kitchen help and bus boys are black. Food Network absolutely did the right thing dropping her.”

“My first instinct is to say something mean like - Doesn't one have to HAVE a career in order to make a career change? - but it's Meg Ryan, and it's pretty hard to be mean about her. True that since she "renovated" her face she hasn't gotten much work, but I guess this is her way of staying in the biz. The movie does interest me. I wish her luck with that. I also hope she realizes that she doesn't need to keep "tweaking" her face at the plastic surgeon's office. She would look just fine if she left it alone.”
