“NO, they were drunk already! Oh wait, the were forced to drink too....right?”

“They consented to drink. They did not consent to sex.”

“Doesn't matter whether they went to the house willingly drank or whatever, they were still underage, which puts some responsibility on the boys who know that”
tra1215 on Oct 17, 2013 at 19:17:19
“Who cares if they were forced to drink or if it was voluntary? It's not an invitation for sex. When are men going to start understanding this?!”

“It doesn't matter if they were already drunk or not. Paige told the boy who attacked her no, and he admitted that he assaulted her anyway. If Daisy were given something that would make her incapable of consenting or saying no, then it's still a NO. These girls, either drunk or sober, were sexually assaulted. It's a crime, and it needs to be brought to justice.”
“Every picture is of a black thug...or crime in a black area. Maybe blacks should stop worrying about Travon and clean up their own neighborhoods.”

“There's really not much point in arguing about how many of which color commit or are the victims of crimes. I say there's not much point in arguing about it because detailed statistics are gathered by law enforcement and hard numbers can be found. No need to argue when the facts are out there for any to view.
The best place to start is the Federal Department of Justice website.
“This person does not know how to spell or use any type of punctuation at all. His sentences are broken and unclear. And people wonder why white people do not take into account what black people say. Educate yourself, and come back with a valid argument that supports your statement. Don't just say "kil da witey"!”

“Because all white people spell and punctuate so well...
Crystal Ronk on Jul 23, 2013 at 11:50:51
“You think that white people use grammar and punctuation any better? This is not a race related problem, it's an undereducated, thinking that somehow it's cool, lazy ass problem. Which effects everyone.”
bvbklyn on Jul 23, 2013 at 11:50:36
“white people don't listen to black people because they think they are the brightest lights. my very white self finds red necks really creapy and they have a very high opinion of their stupidity. it's our fabulous colonialism roots that is the disease my friend.”
melodisong2 on Jul 23, 2013 at 11:34:11
“YOU just validated his argument. Thanks, much.”

“Grammar and punctuation are why white people don't listen to black people? That is the dumbest thing I've read in a long time.”

“This is America, speak English when dealing with an English speaking person please.”
StilettoTreeHugger on Jul 23, 2013 at 16:45:53
“She was upset because she couldn't eaves drop on the conversations. It wasn't that no one spoke English nor was her complaint that the course was taught in Spanish. The course was taught in English, clearly they spoke English, but choose to have personal conversations in Spanish.
English is my first language, but I also learned how to speak Spanish. If I end up speaking Spanish around a person who doesn't speak Spanish, I speak English to include them in the conversation. HOWEVER if there is NO need to include the person in the conversation, I'm not obligated to let everyone know what I talking about. She was probably nosey and her classmates decided it was none of her business.”

“From the complaint, it appears that people did speak to Bennett primarily in English. Her complaint is that Spanish speaking students spoke Spanish amongst themselves and that this somehow interfered with her ability to learn.
This is America. People are allowed to speak amongst themselves in whatever language they feel comfortable speaking. When I go to Europe, I speak English to other English speakers.”
“The issue is simple....girls do not enjoy or want to take science type classes. In fact, when they are younger they "make fun" of the "male nerds" who are smart and enjoy technology. Think it is not true, I am living proof that it is. (No, this does NOT apply to all woemen)”
