“Congratulations, you made it through. This time. I for one, a former daily poster, barely come around anymore, what's the point when you can't debate openly? HP is molding their brand into just another standard corporate news mouthpiece so no matter where you look, you find nothing contradictory.

“Yeah son. The rawest NYC rap team ever and my soundtrack to the 90's graffiti years. Shook Ones and Shook Ones Pt.2, Survival of the Fittest, those songs will still send a chill up your spine and they recorded that stuff as teenagers. Good to hear there's still something real going on in the rap world.”

“Give Up The Goods is my all time favorite from them, and in the top ten for hip hop songs I've ever heard.”
“Indeed. And as offensive as that comment is to black people, I still say he has the right to say it. What's interesting is that the media has ignored that comment and focused on the gay comments. Is it because rednecks are expected to be racist?”
“Free speech is free speech, and anybody at any time can say something others disagree with or view as insensitive. So what, it's one person's opinion and it wasn't said on the TV show, this was a magazine interview.
As for the show, I watched part of one episode and thought it was boring. How it's so popular eludes me, but hey I'm from NJ where a whole lot of other reality shows are filmed that people hate.”

“Like Jersey Shore?”

“Ahh yes, it would be good to see Morgan Jones again, "Clear" was easily the best-acted episode in the series. The story turns real dark in the following arc, especially with Glen getting killed with a baseball bat. That was hard to look at in the comic book!”
“A bankster's paradise, with insult added to injury as Detroit tries to deny pensioners over 80% of their pension while prioritizing the almost full repayment to banks. The hollowing out of America continues as banks will buy up property for pennies and resell it at massive profit. It happened here in NJ, in Camden a long time ago.”
“Yep. I'd like to see the Jesus character or the Negan story arc, they're slow rolling the show and there are a lot more places than the prison.”
O K Ali on Dec 19, 2013 at 12:20:34
“Well, the prison arc is done. I believe Carol will return sometime in the future, as well as, the crazy man who lost his son to his zombie wife (can't remember his name), and I've already saw screen shots of Abraham.”
“Dogs would be good protectors, but yeah even in the comic there aren't any. Maybe because they need to be fed?”
Nessral on Dec 19, 2013 at 11:43:16
“realistically- as a dog person I dont care what was going on my dog is a family member and would not be left PLUS- I am sure he could smell and distract -trick zombies-now the barking- that would be a problem- would have to find a shock collar which I dont approve of but in the case of the Zombie apocolypse...”

“Yeah but where are the packs of wild dogs? Not to put to fine a point on it, they can eat zombies right back”
“Well of course, with an almost unlimited black budget, nothing is too expensive or exotic to buy a thousand of. I don't know about the true practicality of this one, but the tech is pretty impressive when you watch the demo vid and see it recover it's balance on a sheet of ice, watch them kick it sideways and see it recover it's balance, etc.
If it was carrying a .50 caliber machine gun, 40mm launcher or flame thrower through an urban area and was armored, they would find some use. The ability for it to climb stairs, fit in tight places, etc could prove valuable in that environment. Psychological impact could also be a factor. Not endorsing more urban wars but I'm sure this is the place they'd be used. "Urban pacification". Wouldn't be long before they were deployed to break up protests here in the US, firing rubber bullets or tear gas..”
“Nope, too late! Cyclone Power Technologies, the company behind the Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot (EATR) has denied that it is designed to eat biological material, but in fact it can and it's not the only one that can power itself this way.”

“Good research. I'm not sure if I learned of it from something classified. Maybe I learned of it like you? It's not good I don't remember. It genuinely creeped me when I first heard of it. The Japanese have been working on robots for decades hoping they can build friendly ones that are smart enough to chat with the rapidly aging portion of their population in nursing homes. They're strong enough to lift a geezer with one hand and wipe his rear with the other. If they decide the job is beneath them they could decide the world would be better off without geezers? Our robots, like the one you found and the videos in the article, could have come from the movie set. For more Christmas cheer, our Predator drones are scheduled to become fully autonomous. We should worry that some computer scientist makes some more progress on artificial consciousness. The NSA is building something akin to Skynet, maybe the Terminator movie could become real? Some of the top researches, like former Sun Microsystems' chief scientist Bill Joy. genuinely worry and believe some of this should be banned. I think I'm making a joke, but not sure. ;}”
“It can carry all your gear, reducing fatigue and extending range. It can carry all manner of sensors, electronics, and coms gear, could potentially even carry or drag wounded operators. Never mind the weapons systems that can be mounted to it.”

...one well placed round of ammunition...bam!...not many mechanics out there to fix..and as armed forced are prone to do...keep oving..leave by wayside..replace with another and another..
...US has most expensive weaponry to repair/replace..than all other nations..and we still can't sniff out terrorists hide'n in white jeeps and under rocks.
...more military industrial complex gizmos”
