“If we had Single Payer you could still get your own private insurance.
Can you name one country that has some form of Single Payer that its citizens can't stand?

“Well, considering the average doctor in the US makes $186,000, and the average doctor in Canada makes $125,000, where do you think the better doctors will choose to practice? Also, considering the long waiting lines in Canada (keep in mind.....the entire country has a smaller population than the state of California), how do you think that will translate over here in America? In my mind......havoc would ensue. America is far more densely populated than Canada is. The waiting lines would be absolutely horrible.”
“There's a reason Canadians consider Tommy Douglas "the greatest Canadian of all time". He was the architect of their health care system.”

“This is nothing like Canada's.. and BTW- whenever those with the ability up there need something time sensitive done, they come to the US. If the ACA was such a good system, the Administration would not have to give his favorite groups special treatment ("all will be treated equal"...remember that?), have the majority of the program roll out AFTER the '14 election (corporate enrollment... why do you think that is?) nor all the MANY other lies and deceptions he's all but out right admitted was done to get the votes. And to dump this along our national debt into the laps of following generations? Liberal Democrats = Spoiled Dependents who pass their self-serving policy under guise of helping others.”

“Most Canadians I've talked to complain about their healthcare system, saying they have long waiting lines. Also, keep in mind that the population of the entire country of Canada is only 34 million......that's less than the population of the state of California. Things are a little more complex when you deal with over 300 million.”
“These "police never get here in time" people are so indoctrinated that his fiancee call HIM instead of the police when she felt threatened back in November. Hendrix solution was to introduce a firearm to a home with two children, and I can only imagine that that's his solution to every problem he's ever encountered.”
“"...felony false imprisonment and two misdemeanor counts of battery, charges related to placing a woman in a headlock, kissing another woman and grabbing the buttocks of a third."
For this he gets probation? It's good to be White in America!”

“Has way more to do with him being a politician than it does the color of his skin.”

“agree but this guy was going to fight this and drag the entire party and city through a long protracted legal process costing millions…. so he gets off by pleading guilty and saving money… it sucks but that is what happened”
“Throughout the turbulent 60s and into the 70s (and maybe still), Michigan was in the top three states in Ku Klux Klan activity. (Terry Nichols and Timothy McVeigh were not anomalies). Think about the competition: Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky.
Maybe Paul should have chosen a softer target. Or maybe he should just try DOING something good, for a change.”
