“Just a note about pesticides: Modern pest control practices are FAR less harmful to the environment and, more importantly, to humans and their health than what was in place 20 or more years ago. Those who rail on against pesticide use do not understand WHAT is used, HOW it is used and how long residues remain.
As for organic, there is NO guarantee at all "organic" crops are grown without pesticides. NONE. People must educate themselves on the realities of "organic" and what exactly a grower must do in order to acquire that label (not much really).
Penn&Teller's excellent program, Bullshit - the episode on "organics," is a great place to start. Look it up on YouTube.”

So you are staying they are still somewhat harmful.
So thank you I will continue to avoid them as much as possible. They are absolutely unnecessary. Their are natural & organic farming techniques that can be used to control pests without harmful chemicals.”
