“Buddha, Allah, Satan ....
These fairy tales are not in any way different from the make-belief gods of Yaweh/Jehovah/Elohim and Jesus. Get over it!
Think about it.”

“Actually, Buddha was a person, but obviously never a god. His real name was Siddhartha Gautama. Conspicuously unlike the case with Jesus (who did magic tricks that nobody bothered to write about while he was supposedly alive), there are copious amounts of corroborating evidence from the period when Gautama was alive to verify that he most certainly did exist, even though he didn't do any magic tricks.”
“But these ads are correct that the Quran is very derogatory about Jews - it says that Jews are pigs and monkeys, which even Muslims themselves cannot deny, because it's right there in the Quran.”

“There are NO verses that say this. Please cite them, and cite the context in which tye were revealed”

“So is the Christian Bible. Jesus in the Book of John is made to say that the Jews are of the devil. The first gospel, Mark, writes that "the people" killed Jesus. The subsequent gospels say "all the people" until finally, in John's account, it is simply "the Jews." Scholars say that in the time of John's community of believers, Jews felt that they were being forced out of the early Christian movement so John crafted a Jesus who was anti-Semitic. The popular Christian pageant at Oberammergau, Germany helped further fan the flames of anti-Semitism in Christianity.”

“The Quran says, that when some of the Israelites broke the JUDAIC Law, God (of Abraham & Moses) was dismayed and as an exemplary punishment turned them into Swine & Monkeys (in accordance with Judaic Law).
The God of The Quran is the same God as those of The Jews or any other Divine Scripture of The World. The Quran says, that among The Jews are those who worship their (Muslims' also) God and read The Book in awe of His Majesty (These are rephrased quotations of The Quran, done by me to explain the matter). Please do let me know if you'd like the exact quotation.
Personally, I don't believe God looks at our chosen labels for ourselves, but rather it's our deeds that make us Muslims, Jews, Hindu or Christian etc.”

“So has the bible. Should we cut off aid to christian countries?
“4. And the Lord said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the Lord against the sun, that the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel.
5. And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.
6. And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
7. And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
8. And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.” Numbers 25: 4-8 (Notice why the man and woman were killed.)”

“Those verses, in context, refer to those who disobeyed God, according to the Quran.
“Those who believe in the Quran, and those who follow the Jewish scriptures, and the Christians and the Sabians, any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
... which is one of the more even-handed passages about members of other religions found in any scripture, I'd guess (and I'm an atheist).”

“And the Old Testament calls for killing of infidels as well. And Christianity has the single bloodiest history of genocide and persecution of all the Abrahamic religions. Your point?”
Bad Kitty of the North on May 21, 2014 at 04:15:16
“Actually - you need to study the background of those verses. Without the context, you risk misinterpreting - as you have done here. Short story - at the time of this revelation, there were 2 Muslim communities fighting each other. They were hiring the local Jews and Christians as mercenaries. These people had no loyalty, and would stab their Muslim "allies" in the back for a higher price. So the revelation was that THOSE Jews and Christians were like pigs and apes - and that Muslims were forbidden to take them as allies AGAINST other Muslims. It addressed THOSE people at THAT place at THAT time. Not all Jews and Christians for all time. There are many, many other verses in the Qur'an that call for friendship, cooperation and respect for Jews and Christians in general.”

“I never said he pre-paid for the order,he did call in the order & then went out the door without paying. And it's obvious he has done this before,as he wandered around the store & took the opportunity to leave, when the front end was busy.”
“~ As Right Wing Watch is reporting, the American Family Association's Sandy Rios blasted out service members in a radio broadcast this week, arguing that transgender officers are "confused" while those that are openly gay are "constantly thinking about their sexuality." ~
Dear Ms Rios, it's the right ring conservatives like yourself who are constantly thinking about other people's sexuality. Just admit it.”
