“"but fountain drinks vary by establishment. It seems some stores use more syrup to flavor the drink, some less and mix this with varying levels of carbon dioxide."
Coca Cola supplies ALL fountain retailers with a calibration cup, and company reps perform random inspections to ensure they are set properly (but there are so many you might get inspected once every 5-10 years)....
I used to work night shift at a couple convenience stores. And I'd sometimes check the calibrations. One place only used 2/3 the syrup that it was supposed to, so I'd correct it. ,,, within 2 days the manager would reset it because he felt the store was using "too much syrup" ... in other words, yhe attitude is that, you're going to buy it anyway, so watery coke is more profitable.......”
“Remember that when they come for you. Either we are ALL equal under the law, or everything we claim to stand for is a lie.”

“So then what you are saying is every time some one does something that I don't like or when they don't give me what I want, It gives me the right under our law to go out and kill and maim women and children ? Does that privilege come with becoming a citizen ?
I guess all those would be terrorists out there should be come citizens before they try to bomb us.”
GlenRastell on Apr 20, 2013 at 12:52:03
“You're right. We'll all get treated the same when we bomb innocent people. If you're planning on doing that then yes you may feel threatened by the way he's treated.”

“Everything we claim to stand for is a lie. That continues to be proven every day.”

“Your guy Obama in in charge tho...so relax, he would never trample on your Rights..or would he?”
“The "immediate danger" is over... If it can happen to him. it can happen to anybody. Since the so called "Patriot Act" the Constitution is just a piece of paper for official to wipe their a---s with.”
“As I read it. the provision lasts 8 months. Contact your Congresscritter to make sure it's not renewed.
Beyond that, it's patently obvious that entirely too many folks have NO idea how our government actually works - despite Schoolhouse Rock. Under current laws the President can ONLY sign the entire bill, or veto the entire bill. PERIOD. Vetoing the Ag bill would have caused MORE harm to a greater number of people, than signing it - even with the toxic provision.
ALL the rest is some media people trying to stir up the low information folks by slamming the President FOR SIMPLY DOING HIS JOB. If you are reacting emotionally, you aren't thinking critically.... instead of playing the blame game and posting useless drivel on Huffpo that will accomplish ABSOSHITLY NOTHING, you people should be WRITING YOUR CONGRESSCRITTERS instead.
Nah, pointless b------g is easier than actually doing something”

“We have written and called our congresspeople and the president, before, during and after the rider was passed and signed. We don't have as much money as Monsanto, you see, so they don't listen to us. That is how the Gov. works. The Congresspeople could have stopped it, the prez could have sent the bill back and said take it out then I'll sign. The prez has been supporting Monsanto et all all through his presidency. Trying to paint Obama as the innocent victim in this case is refusing to look at the reality of what he is and has been doing. I voted for Obama the first time around but I do not self delude in the face of reality.”
“Most election districts in Texas are controlled by the political party that believes it should “win” elections by any means necessary. They are the people charged with investigating election fraud (not to be confused with voter fraud) and taking appropriate steps to ensure fair elections. Those steps include making sure that certain districts get ample voting machines while others have the right to stand in long lines to case their paperless ballots.”
“"too many voices of doubt were muffled or rejected in a toxic atmosphere of patriotism, ignorance and political fear."
And they still are. Rational, reasoned discussion is still rejected in favor of shouting, villifying, and jingoisms... Sadly the left has adopted many of the very the attitudes they so deplore from the right”
“Here's the kicker.... The US sugar production has no "small family farmers" that actually need protecting here. Rather it's a small group of multi-millionaires and billionaires that have been milking the system since before WWII.
In other words, they are "big ag". And that's why Washington feels they "deserve" a bailout.”

“Yes we heard that one before, "To big to fail".....”
