“I don't think he cleaned up his act after having kids. A few months or maybe it was a year ago there was a picture on the internet of him smoking weed and his teenaged kid was sitting there and everyone was talking about how he wasn't a good father to be "showing" his son bad habits.”
“I am not sure about the chronological order of events. Altamont, the killing of a black man there.
The death of John Lennon. The death of Jimi Hendrex. Janis. Brian Jones. The war on drugs.
Viet Nam. The CIA's military industrial complex. How and why this generation was swept under the rug, historically.”
“I think we should be sceptical about what the government tells us. Where would we be without Woodward & Bernstein & Mark Felt. Someone has to check what they do cause the press isn't. They tried to spoon-feed us about the "single bullet theory" thanks to Arlen Spector.”

“Sorry but Woodward has been a CIA operative since WWII and not the hero journo you have been led to believe. Moreover, in all likelihood, Mark Felt was not Deep Throat.
"By any cursory examination of the facts, Mark Felt was not Deep Throat. Felt had been a straight-laced FBI man, hopelessly loyal to J. Edgar Hoover's "Seat of Government." Deep Throat had been a chain-smoking Scotch drinker, supposedly disillusioned by the trappings of Washington politics.
In Against Them, Tegan Mathis reveals for the first time anywhere that Deep Throat was actually a hard-partying White House aide named Richard Bruce Cheney. When Bob Woodward asked Mark Felt to assume the role of Deep Throat, he only did so to provide cover for the next vice president of the United States of America. A few loose ends had to be tied down before the 2000 presidential election, so Bob made the extraordinary trip to Santa Rosa to cut a deal.
But that's just the beginning of the story. The author goes on to explain, through a meticulous examination of rather bizarre new evidence, how and why Alexander Haig, Bob Woodward, Donald Rumsfeld, and Richard Cheney used their bogus Deep Throat story to cover up the John F. Kennedy assassination in the wake of the Watergate break-in.
“This is better than the Mimi Alford story. I don't think it is that far fetched as some of the posts here suggest considering the connections of the Military Industrial Complex that President Eisenhower spoke of. There contacts were far and reaching and there was a whole lot of money involved and a lot of peoples interests were at stake.”

“You don't have to go as far as large scale military industrial complex conspiracies to understand a simple murder in Washington. Mary Meyers was an insider and so investigations of her death invariably bring up connections that many people want to stay hidden. She was married to one of the highest ranking men in the CIA and she had an affair with the President during the Cold War and the Cuban Missile crisis. Her story, therefore, is not like anyone else's, she was connected, she knew things, and she was angry. Apparentl;y someone felt she knew too much. There was a lot of that going around during those years, a murderous nationalism that knew no boundaries under the law. These were directed killings for the good of the country and they were handled as such, as national security matters. It is only in hindsight that we see just how sordid and paranoid the whole operation was.”

“Our leaders have short memories. Senator Graham helped oust Speaker Gingrich for a reason. All I remember is these guys wanting to impeach President Clinton over the Monica Lewinski thing when Speaker Gingrich was doing what? Doing something hypocrital I suppose.”
“The big elephant in the room is the fact that The Federal Reserve is a privately owned instution, that lends money and charges interest to the Treasury for every dollar it loans and just a few familys are getting rich on the setup. Check out President Kennedy's executive order # 11110 find out if it is constitutionally legal for the Reserve to still be a privately owned institution for just a few families that own it.”
“This reminds me of when they arrested Ralph Nader, who was invited to the debates and still got arrested in Texas for trying to attend the debate that he had been invited to. Apparently, someone sees these people as a real threat. I saw "Gasland" and I can't imagine that it was possible to lite water on fire from the tap in your sink.”

She should go back to her doctor and find out if the stress from her job was warrented stress or unwarrented. If the stress was unwarrented from her job, then she should sue her employer for such.”
“After reading the post's here I would say, "Let's have some respect for a woman who's husband was gunned down in an assasination style." Anyone who is for O.W.S. is on the right side. Don't you think that M.L.K. would have been with them? Of course he would have. He was the non-violent, protester. Remember?”

Yes, I do remember MLK leading non-violent protest. The problem with your logic is that Occupy does not have non-violent protest ..... i.e. Oakland, New York, etc.”
“I don't know if it is a threat or a fantasy, but is anyone talking about the outsourcing of American jobs other than Ron Paul? Maybe Jon Huntsman? Ron Paul is the only candidate talking about how our liberties are being taken away.”
abluevoice on Jan 11, 2012 at 19:31:54
“Outsourcing is a done deal, wake up. It's called the global economy and no Republican is going to change it. That's what Republican free markets mean, making a business environment where American corporations are free to hire the cheapest labor they can to maximize their profits. Voting for any Republican endorses this, including Ron Paul. If you are concerned about jobs lost through outsourcing you should be voting for Obama he talks about it, and at least he is trying to create jobs for those hurt by outsourcing and other types of structural unemployment, and regulate abusive corporate greed.
What liberties of yours have been taken away artsahobby123? Ron Paul wants to take away a woman's right to chose, that's a real threat you are endorsing.”
“They are sleeping on public property up in the hills. I have let homeless people sleep in my apt. here before and fed them too. USA 1776-2008 RIP, where do you think they should sleep in jail or prison? Don't you think we have enough people in jail or prison already?”

People have been poor for generations, it's just todays poor believe they can help themselves to other peoples stuff. Here's a solution, invite the poor to stay on your property and let them have your stuff.”

“Foodgrade, If people innoculate themselves against Hep C then that's a great thing but, most people who have Hep C don't know they are carrying it. There are no warning signs other than weight loss. The only way you can find out if from a specific test for it. They say a whole lot of people in prison have it and the prison system is not treating them, but releasing them back into society to infect other people, which in my mind is a reason that the disease is growing exponentially.”

“So they would rather let the patient die then to risk a lung infection and apparently if you live alone or are homeless you can get denied too because they think your a drug addict. Well, I'm here to tell you that you can get liver damage from Hep C without being a drug addict. I never heard of anyone hurting their liver from smoking pot, but I had a father who could have used a liver transplant before they had them and he got a bad liver from drinking alcohol which shows you that society has it backwards in regards as to what drug causes what damage. Thats like saying "Well since you drank alcohol and destroyed your liver we won't give you a transplant because you drank."”

“I go to different churches and I find that feeling the spirit there is important. Sometimes I find things there that are relevent to my life and sometimes I don't. One of the last times I went to church there were people outside the church that wanted me to sign their anti-gay petitions. I refused and left thinking that this was not appropiate.”
