“Big problem with cooking at home is some families need two incomes to pay the bills and support the family. This leaves little to no time for the other partner to get home and cook. Let alone cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Heck if I could stay home, I wouldn't mind preparing a lunch and cooking a dinner. As for breakfast, if I don't have a job... no way I'm waking up early. A little someone can throw a pop tart in the toaster.”
“The oils in algae go towards biodiesel and the natural sugars in it can produce ethanol. Here is a good site on it: http://www.oilgae.com/algae/pro/eth/eth.html It goes into how the starches from the algae can be converted into ethanol while the oils are turned into biodiesel. Truth be told it is an excellent way for us to grow our own fuel and not hurt our food sources as well.”
“Algae can do both. Plus it does not need pesticides, acres of land, and a huge workforce to harvest. Also you can say that algae is not a food source either and can be easily grown in any pool of water.”
“Obviously I can't response to your comment without it being deleted? That being said, I never said that all people with mental issues were to blame. There are often red flags (aka his manifesto) that get ignored or swept under the rug so to speak. Those red flags are something we should look to detecting to help stop tragedies like this from happening.”
“Ethanol does not have to come directly from corn. Corn is one of the worst plants to grow for it. Corn takes a larger number of resources to produce. Algae is a far better choice. It is 80% oil and can grow basically overnight (anyone with a pool will agree with me).”

“Not to mention that the corn best used for ethanol is not really the best food corn. It's much higher in sugar content and lower in protein.”

“Ethanol is a byproduct of fungal growth. They turn sugar into ethanol and CO2. Oil can't undergo this process.”

“I have heard of the algae research and it looks really cool. One thing I don't see though is it more efficient to use algae to make ethanol or a biodiesel.”
“Not a disease like cancer but our feelings towards it. We actively are looking for a cure, a way to rid ourselves of it. We should do the same to misogyny. At least that is what I took away from this article.”
“He is right.... but he said it in a way that is so wrong. I'm sorry that innocent people were killed and harmed because of the actions of one very sick individual. True he had guns but he also used a knife and his car. In the end we need to learn how to predict and counter these psychopaths. I'm sorry but disarming and restricting the whole population is not how you do that.”

“" In the end we need to learn how to predict and counter these psychopaths."
Please. If there WAS a way to do that, there wouldn't be a problem. Mental health professionals spend their lives and careers trying to do that. Like any other physician, they aim to heal the sick. But too often this level of sickness is almost invisible; Its symptoms generally manifest themselves when it is too late. Yes, this guy articulated issues, but almost exclusively his depression about being an outcast; that is very rarely a homicidal indication. If it was, we'd be locking up millions of people a day. The only time he articulated his intentions as a result of his depression was hours before he acted.
I suffer from chronic depression and PTSD, so I know of what I speak. I am getting treatment and support. And I guarantee you that I wouldn't do what he did, as the millions of my fellow patients wouldn't.
Mental health professionals would love to be able to prevent this, and believe me, the majority of them delve deeply into their patients' maladies. But sadly, it takes mind reading to predict what this guy eventually did, without articulated symptoms.”

“So, your solution involves learning how to...read the future? Have fun in Minority Report-land.”
“Big thing China forgets is that the bigger they become, the more their workers will want. Soon it'll cost too much to make stuff over there and ship it over here. Once that happens their factories will shut their doors overnight and the greedy job stealers will go to another country with a work force willing to work for 10 cents a day. Gotta love them wally world deals!”
“Where is the line for people that could care less to begin with? Also why not just drop the "red" and call themselves the "skins". Could it be pig skin? Red skin? Apple skin? Who knows!”

“feeble minds are the ones who don;t care. It takes an intelligent person to stand up for what is right. It is 2014; time has come to let your hearts and minds that are filled with ignorant tainted hate and spite to get fixed and replace by knowledge and compassion.”

“Oh I hold marvel heroes close to my heart. Wolverine is my 3rd fav followed by Spiderman and Prof X. Hulk, Capt, Ironman, Green lantern, Martian Manhunter are all in the top 10 as well. I loved Avengers and the the 1st 2 ironmans. But all these b list marvel hero movies.... I really cannot get excited about their movies over Batman vs Superman. It's like OOOOO Antman and Dr. Strange?!?!? or Batman fighting Superman? However I do think Guardians is going to rock.”

“Marvel fan boys going to hate. Truth is Batman and Superman are better than Marvel hero. All marvel can do is make a movie about some super dude smashing stuff for 2 + hours and then at the very end of the credits they run a super cryptic "who could that be" teaser. Honestly I have not gone to a marvel movie since iron man 3 and that movie was terrible. The rest I wait until they come out on video or I can sneak one in at the drive in movies.”

“no THE truth is, it's fiction and everyone is entitled to their opinions. I find it funny you jump on marvel fanboys for hating then show that you are a hating dc fanboy..”

“Hulk is freaking amazing. You just did the DC guy hating on Marvel.
Yes. Iron Man 3 was pretty lame. But the other two were terrific. And every time Hulk has EVER been on the screen, he has owned it.”
