“Duh, second-hand smoke does not harm you if you're in a business that has a smoking license. The state is simply looking out for the health of its citizens, isn't that obvious? Michigan has done the same thing by increasing taxes on cigarettes by 50 cents a pack in an effort to "discourage smoking," but that tax revenue sure is nice!
I, for one, am glad our government is looking out for us. *Cough* Excuse me.”

“The state is NOT MY MOTHER! I will look out for my own health thank you very much.”

“Sorry, Kid, you're from a Detroit suburb. Just because you're a "downstater" doesn't mean you're a Southerner! Cracks me up to see the flag flying in Michigan. Makes me wanna say "If you don't like it, you can get the heck out!"”
“Just tried ginger burgers yesterday: 1 lb ground beef with 2 tablespoons of chopped ginger, half a small chopped onion, salt, pepper and garlic. Ginger has that "clean" taste that works well when the burger is topped with lots of fresh lettuce and tomato. Don't forget the Hellmans!”

“Hmmm.... I love ginger and your recipe sounds delicious. I'm going to try it tomorrow.”
“Feral pigs can likely be controlled by hunting. Try fishing the Asian carp to extinction once they're established -- no way it'll ever happen.
What scares me the most is that Dave Wethington, head of the Army Corps in Chicago -- the agency supposed to keep these fish out -- believes the fish won't survive in the "too cold" Great Lakes. Are you kidding? This fish's greatest adaptation is its ability to adapt. Waterways they are currently established almost certainly experience the same temperatures as Lake Michigan.”
“Wow, this says absolutely nothing. Comparing the issues of Asian carp and feral swine is not apples to apples. What we have with the Asian carp issue is one state having total control of the fate of the entire Great Lakes region.”
