Reinhold Neibuhr, the German-American Christian philosopher, described this situation well in the 1950s and 1960s, during the Cold War. In all my adult life, I have rarely (if ever) been to a doctor that wanted to choose vaccination or antibiotics against "waiting it out" when I've had a viral or bacterial infection. I've always found doctors to be on the conservative side ("Let's wait and see") with respect to this issue. It seems that all the huffing and puffing and spazzing comes from big media, not the doctor's office itself.”

Have you no shame, woman? Many "elderly" people I know cannot even afford to see you speak at that price. They are only able to live due to Social Security and Medicare, two systems I am certain you would love to dismantle. However--and I know that this is hard for you to grasp--but you are the one creating "death panels" with the current system of privatized "healthcare for the rich and perfect" system. You throw out meaningless slogans all the while enacting (or wishing to enact) policies that only consolidate corporate power and dismantle the middle class. You are truly...so­mething, Ms. Sarah Palin.”
