“Just because a teenager has raging hormones, doesn't mean they enjoyed or wanted to be forced into having sex. There ARE teenagers out there (this may be a CRAZY concept to some) that truly are waiting for the right person/don't want to have sex till marriage/don't want to have sex with a random stranger. I was one of very few virgins in my friend group, as a teenager, and thats the way I wanted it. If this was a 20 year old boy and 14 year old girl, exact circumstances, people would be screaming 'burn him at the steak!' or 'let the inmates at 'em!' Some of these comments are just disturbing.”

“Peanut butter is banned from my son's elementary school. No special rooms or anything. It's strictly not allowed.”

“I was actually referring to high schools when I said it would be almost impossible to enforce. That is interesting about your son's elementary school. Here on Long Island, NY, they have special rooms near the cafeteria.”
“Just to set things straight, he was raised by his grandparents, with his two siblings, since he was 5. If he was abused, he might not even remember much of it. I watched a video on a seperate HP article where they interviewed the boys elderly neighbor; and the man said he was a nice kid who liked to help him tend to his yard, and workout. Obviously, no adult REALLY ever knows whats going on in a kids head, and who knows if that stuff is 100% factual...But this man said he was raised by his grandparents who did everything to give him a good life. I know people who were abused in all sorts of awful ways, I know people who were raised by their grandparents...and they never went out and shot anyone.”
“Anyone like being woken up by their neighbors blasting their music/dog barking non stop/car alarm screeching while they fumble for their keys for what seems like eternity....????
No, I don't like that either. And I've known a few people to call the cops for atleast two of those examples. And ALL of those examples are disrespectful to the people that live near, or just on the otherside of the wall.
I don't think she should have called the cops, seems like a waste of their time. But if this mom has ever been in any of those situations, then she can totally understand how being woken up by loud, disturbing, obnoxious noises, is absolutely disrespectful. Keep it down, for real! My husband and I don't wait for our 5 year old to go to bed so we can scream our heads off in the sack. I clearly know he's right across the hall. It just doesn't happen...you can get it on without howling like an animal. If you can't, bury your damn face in a pillow!”
“I cannot believe how offended some of these comments are on here! Haha! Wow. This little girl caught a man stealing from her family, and people are all worked up about privacy and such. This article gave me a good chuckle at how stupid this guy is! High fives for that little girl! When you were 12, did you ever catch a theif? Probably not. Give her her 15 minutes, people. :)”
“I didn't know my father until my parents divorced. We lived under the same roof my entier life, but he made my mother raise us by herself. He also abused her, in many ways I'm not venturing into, and didn't allow my mother to have a job. She raised his children for 20+ years, then kicked her out on her own. There are SOME women who are the victim, and there are SOME men who don't wish to raise their children. Generalizations don't always work, so please stop relying on them to make whatever point you're seeking.”
“Maybe the husband didn't see their child as a burden! And she probably would have been better off to do herself in. I don't agree with suicide, but when it comes down to somebody thinking 'I want to kill myself, but instead, I'm going to kill somebody else'...then they should probably just kill themselves and save everybody the trouble...Now the husband has no son, a wife in a mental institution, and probably a ton of funeral and legal bills. What good did she think could come of this? I dunno, but she sounds pretty nuts to me.”
“Believe what you want, mom. How about instead of making excuses for your child, you teach them to use their words as a weapon instead of their hands. If that girl got hit the wrong way and died, then all those children would be guilty of murder. I'm so tired of people, espeically young people, using violence to solve things. When will people learn OR teach, that words are just words, and walking away practically never results in awful mistakes, suspension, expulsion, jail time, a track record, etc etc...”
