“What really showed me that the whole EU thing was a farce was 1992, I was in Togo, there was a big notice saying the road along the front of the presidential palace had been funded by the EU.
The tarmac road started at one end of the palace and ended at the other.
What benefit did it give the ordinary people?
Shiploads of EU food aid being sold on the streets.
Of course closer to home are the inflated salaries paid to EU functionaires.
The farce of agricultural payments where money is paid to landowners, not food producers.
The list goes on....................”

“Im glad to see someone bring that up about the agricultural payments. They have no interest in sustaining a healthy viable food source. Monsantos is the aim, they have already gained more ground recently in the US, they can now get their zombie food onto the shelves without it having to be labeled as GM, they got that through with 60 million in bribes. Yum, yum.”
“The reality is that when the 'cold war'was working to provide terror throughout the populace and profits for the military/industrial coconspirators, there was a pecking order.
Regional Centres of Government and all the rest, try Duncam Cambell books or website.
The important thing to remember is that the State is not there to protect you and me, it is there to protect 'the State'”
“Yes there is gold in Leadhills.
The old custom was that the men could not marry until they had panned enough gold to make the wedding ring.
I suppose it showed their dedication and will to work.
Faned and faved, please fan and faved all reponders, viral faved and fanned :O)”
“I would love to name them but it seems someone is watching my posts very carefully .
What the register says is very limited, nothing about senior civil servants or 'advisors'.
fanned and faved, please do the same to all responders viral fanning and faved for fun:O)”
“Things to love about Scotland?
The chippy at Stonehaven, we ordered the same again, it was so good and the beach of course, better than many worldwide.
Leadhills where you can pan for gold, even though it always seems to rain there when everywhere else has sunshine.
Ferryden where the SNP hardliners invited us to get drunk with them, my mum, born in the US but brought up in Montrose seemed to have charmed them.
Largs where some pubs advertise 'frustrated export orders' very cheap spirits, tax is a variable thing.
Islay, for obvious reasons, malt of the earth, sorry, salt, no, be true, MALT, single with just a drop of spring water.
Haggis&neeps& mash, with a single malt, of course.
Haggis, haggis and haggis, with a single malt from Islay of course, the older the better.
Glasgow Museum and their art gallery.
The beaches near Strontium where you have to be careful not to tread on the fish.
The Retreat not far from Montrose where, if you know , you can still pick silver from a certain rockface.
The Northen Lights.
Stripping the Willow, at random, in so many places with people you have never met before and probably never will again.
Harviestoun brewery, grown from such as small base to an amazing brewery providing a very good 'Bitter and Twisted'
The bad things?
Glasgow pub bouncers.
Fettes for producing a former PM”

“Do you really expect to find gold in a place called Leadhills? Surely if you did the place would be called Goldhills! Never mind, lead is a sought after metal - people keep nicking it off church roofs round here!”
“Just a thaught, how mant MPs and Senior Civil Servants have accepted 'hospitality' from FOBT promoters?
I am aware of a few from info from a satirical mag .
I cannotyname names on here but they are readily avaiable for readers of unnamed satirical mag :O)”

“Oh name them, it all comes from the register of members interests anyway.
You mean Philip Davies who is a maverick right wing back bencher whose father was a bookie and he owns shares in (bad) racehorses. He got told off for not saying "i refer member to my register of interests" because one campaigner hates him. He is tbf an easy man to hate. He went to th races paid for by Ladbrokes. He was pro bookie before that and pro bookie after.”
