“does it bother you that so many people hate you? Wow....”

“did he really???
I saw only the end where Billo tried to trap him by saying he didn't pick a team today, "because he just doesn't care.."
I wanted to throw something at the t.v.
It was not even good snark, not a good shot, just pathetic, trash journalism not worthy of wasting our President's time on. . . .
the guy makes me physically sick...not because of who HE is, which is bad enough, but because of what his whole way of being does to our country.

“You should have actually listened, he said he asked the same question to George W. Bush. And why is that 'wow'? Its true, Obama is a polarizing figure, so was W. But god forbid somebody brings that up.....”

“Agree. I thought that was the silliest question from O'Reilly. Why doesn't O'Reilly let anyone finish their thought? I was becoming annoyed at the constant interupption from O'Reilly.”

“He should have answered: "Nope, does it bother you?"”

“I agree with Alec, except he left out Hurricane Katrina, as a stain that can not be washed out easily.
Excellent post though, and I feel for Obama, I wouldn't want to be in his position. He is going to be under a very bright spotlight and it is going to get hot. I think that he has shown himself very capable however, to be calm in the midst of a storm. I pray that demeanor stays and carries him through.”
“This is funny, my 5 year-old doesn't know Bill but she knows Obama,Michelle,Biden, Hillary,Bush, Palin and Cindy, times are a changin'”

“My 5 year old was heard chanting O-Bama, O-Bama at school. My 8 year old told me kids in her class were erasing John McCain's face in their Time for Kids Magazine, "because some kids don't like him." She also told me that EVERYONE likes Obama (that is the 5 children that sit around her). I heard a 2nd grader say to another one, "You like McCain?? He is like the whitest white guy ever." This young man was also white. Kids are funny, but they usually reflect what is going on in the world and what they are hearing at home from their parents. In Iowa, things are looking good...”
“This made me think back to when George HW Bush used to say "sad-um" Hussein, does anyone remember that? I wonder what the right thought of that?”

“That was done intentionally. Bush was Yale educated, a good student, and former head of the CIA. He also had people around him who pronounced Saddam Hussein's name correctly. "Sad-um," as pronounced by George H.W. Bush brought to mind "Sod-om" (and Gomorra), successfully reinforced in the American mind the idea that Saddam Hussein was evil (which it so happens, he was).
Nontheless, "Sad-um" was a subliminal, linguistic mind trick.”
“According to fact check.org Palin is not sittin' to pretty herself, dont cha know and the sad part about it is that Palin actually learned all of this to memorazation over a weeks time and still got it all screwy. Her handlers are actually the problem right? That pit bull in lipstick, you need a shorter leash.....”
“When would the $5,000.00 check get to my insurance company and would I have to come up with the difference? Who would be responsible to make sure it got there? There are too many chances for that to go wrong and fast.
How would I be guaranteed that now my employer wouldn't drop me totally ? How do you know that they would be inclined to now give me a raise? You said they would or could do that under McCains plan, when have you ever seen an employer offer an employee more money when they could just pocket more of a profit for themselves. Maybe they would get no additional incentives but, they would come out on top either way.”
“winning the debate and making a positive change in this country is not reciting talking points but you can believe what you want, I think you know that Joe was clearly more knowledgeable and could run the country if .......
I know how bad you want it......I feel your pain.......just move on she is still who she was when Katie asked her to name a supreme court case other than roe v wade or what newspaper she reads.....bottom line nothing has changed”
DenverJuggler on Oct 3, 2008 at 01:11:02
“What major did the candidate have who couldn't name a single newspaper she reads?
Oh - that's right JOURNALISM!
Geesh, for geeks like me that's like a computer science major being asked what programming language they favor and they say ALL OF THEM.
For crying out loud, she could have at least said she likes the Washington Times (a conservative paper run by the Rev. Moon) or the WSJ or trashed the NY Times or LA Times, but to not give a single answer? Maybe she's as intellectually curious as "W" is/was.”
“The thing that is sad is that the media will be talking about Palin and not Biden and he rocked! She was a robot responding with memorized answers and Biden was saying what he knew. Ifil nor Biden called her on not answering questions because they were afraid of being called biast or sexist. Had they challenged her she would have crumbled......”
