Arizona Immigration Law: Immigrant Families Leaving State

Arizona Immigration Law: Immigrant Families Leaving State

Commented Jun 22, 2010 at 20:43:45 in Politics

“I could care less.few facts ok. one can not sneak into another nation and demand rights. why may you ask? because you have no rights in that nation.there is a rule of law it does not matter if you are from the south of the boarder or from some other part of the world if you want to come to this nation and be apart of it, do it by the way you should you apply. you don't come to another nation and start waving the flag of the nation you just left and expect people to welcome you with open arms. people come here to join this nation and her ways. because it is what makes us a nation. one does not come here waving some other nation's flag while you demand rights from us. if you do not like the way our laws are, then you may sneak back into your old nation”

ghee99 on Jun 22, 2010 at 22:33:24

“i agree with you, except on one point

"one can not sneak into another nation and demand rights."

the illegals who come here, do demand rights (and in many cases get them)

not saying thats how it should be

but alas....

thats the way it is

they CAN, and DO demand rights

ironically, many of the rights they demand here, aren't even rights that they demand in their own country”

phoenixdoglover on Jun 22, 2010 at 20:56:38

“It's too bad you are so wrong. The Supreme Court has decided, based on our Constitution and Bill of Rights, that everyone in the country, even illegals, have basic rights to due process. That's why the December underpants bomber was read his rights and processed in the legal system just like a citizen.

It makes this country great.”

“the question still stands that majority of people didn't want this bill it could have been better as it it it still stinks. so if the majority dislikes it say what? in the end we are all going to pay for it.”

marco01 on Mar 23, 2010 at 00:45:44

“There would have been a lot more support for this bill if it weren't for Republican obstructionism.

In poll after poll, over 60% of Americans supported the Progressive pubic option.”

genroku on Mar 23, 2010 at 00:32:30

“With 100% of Republicans blocking this bill every single step of the way, I think, no matter how much work it still needs, if we didn't get it now, you can rest assured we never would have got it with Republicans in the White House. I trust that now the die is cast, improvements will continue to be made. The hard part was getting that toe hold. The Republicans threaten to get HRC thrown out. I invite them to try, and then will watch with interest how they explain to their constituents why tax cuts for the rich, and endless war is more important than the welfare of Americans!”

JScott on Mar 23, 2010 at 00:28:27

“what's with the 3 it s?

Nervous because what one thought was the majority isn't really.”

Readbetweentheelevens on Mar 23, 2010 at 00:22:01

“It seems obvious to you and me. If a speaker agrees with the majority on a view, it can be said that he speaks for the majority. The polls I read said that the majority of Americans didn't want this bill. Mr. Zogby would know. Now, why didn't he mention that?”

“Really what they are saying is to start busing city kids into to the burbs so they can go into there schools. the point is we have so many people sneaking into this country the kids go to school they can not read or write English, so they teach them in there own tong when in fact they should be learning English. SO MUCH MONEY HAS BEEN TOSSED AT CITY SCHOOLS and yet nothing has improved so now we can start pushing them into other school markets that way the better school markts can be dropped down to the city levels?

what they should do is this you go to school and learn leave the cloths that hang down around your butt at home. leave the cell-phones and Ipods at home carry your books and start learning.Oh wait we can not insult anyone right .. never mind just toss more money at it. the rich guy down the road will pay for it.Oh wait we already bleed them dry.Oh I know lets have a soda tax and tax on the tax...”

DC is broken and the problem is lobbyist and the politicians that are on the take in order to fix this mess we need to dump the folks on the take no matter what party banner they sit under. then we dump the lobbyist, and have DC working for the people again. and that folks has to start with us. we need to take back out government and out nation. it has to start working for WE THE PEOPLE AGAIN. this fall the change will start. so for all you on the take folks in capital hill take note we are coming for you.”

“What i'm seeing is that most people who sign for a loan and full well know that he/she will have to pay back so much a month.now are saying hey where is my bail-out? why you made the bill why should the tax payers flip the bill for dept that you made?”

rekk on Feb 23, 2010 at 09:19:43

“NOBODY IS ASKING FOR A BAIL-OUT! University tutition is inflated due to GREEDY ADMINISTRATORS. Most Universities have actually DOWNSIZED, offering LESS while charging MORE. You might be all for turning Univerisity education into a PROFITABLE BUSINESS a la Insurance companies, where they make money by denying care, but I would prefer something a little more ETHICAL, where you actually GET something for your MONEY.”

if you didn't know that you could not pay that sum back each month why take the loan? now you want that loan forgiven? but who do you expect will pay for it?”

“I can understand the pain of having to pay off a loan. the fact is I took this loan thus it became my responsibility. Now because of the way the folks in DC have done things in the past 30 years the land of my birth is broke! We are on this free ride, free everything health care, education, free ride for folks who sneak into this nation just plain old free. Oh yea I forgot, America home of the free. so would someone explain to me who will pay for this? because I don't want to I did not make your bill. I made my own and paid it back.”

Cryn on Feb 23, 2010 at 04:43:55

“Look into Sherrod Brown's debt swap proposal. It may help you answer that question about who will be paying for it.
