“They are harvesting photos so that once they have 2-3 images they can create a computer generated signature of your face. That can be used in Airports, or any other place. And if this were the sixties, people would be on the streets, not sitting in parks, protesting against massive government intrusion....”
“If they already have it, then why is the NSA using my tax dollars to harvest my photo again. Your argument is simple, and does not reflect the "wrongness" of these programs.”

“They are harvesting your photos simply because they can. It's that simple. It doesn't matter whether I think it is wrong or not, what matters is that you as the consumer would have the control...but no one asked about their rights or security regarding the Internet or electronic communications before putting that information out there. So with no rules governing the Internet (which is global) there is ambiguity there (a large gray area) that allows agencies to gather information that you yourself placed on numerous servers voluntarily.”
“I own my own business and we use P. Bowes. On Monday morning, I plan to direct my office manager to turn off our postage meter, and go to the post office and buy a few hundred Harvey Milk Memorial stamps. You see, progressives can protest against ignorance too. And BTW, it is a great memorial to a fine American like Harvey Milk that he is honored with a stamp. He helped more lives, than these fools have saved souls...”

“Awesome — kudos to you.
If they sell out at your local post office in “business” quantities, you might consider buying them online from the USPS Store. Small delivery fees and delays will apply, tho. The uncut press sheets (2,880 stamps on one uncut sheet) may appraise significantly in value once the Harvey Milk stamps go out of print. To all but the AFA, that is. I plan to do a number of fun things with those uncut press sheets; trying to decide how many I can afford.
“Assuming I did the same thing that Snowden did, I would expect to be hauled off in chains to one of the CIA's private torture chambers in Romania or Poland. So, it is no surprise to me that he ran. All of a sudden, being arrested in America is just? I saw just last night on T.V., a women being beaten and told by the police they would throw her in a box, and FEDEX her back to her country, simply because she was non-white, and because the police feel they can get away with anything. No one is safe in this country, if the government is angry with your actions. Personally, I think his actions did more to support our Constitution by revealing the overreach of the government, since the Pentagon Papers....”
“The quality of people surrounding the President is horrific. From the Secret Service officials who allow drinking and prostitution during the President's overseas trips, to the staff who set up trips like this one. As a business owner, I know only too well that you are only as good as your managers. Perhaps that is why the President's approval numbers are in the high 30's....”

“Meanwhile, people who accomplish good things for him (for example, Howard Dean, who was instrumental in putting Obama in the White House in the first place) are tossed aside like yesterday's papers. ”
“I think the reason for his sinking ratings, is that we as American's are exhausted listening to second rate individual's mouth off about issues that they have no expertise in (Will.i.am), and have to waste a good part of our precious weekend wasting our time, listening to stuff that we have already heard over and over again throughout the week. Not long ago, they had Ralph Reed on the show. He is a crook who should have gone to jail. He peddled his phony religion, by going around and stirring up apathy. My Sunday mornings will not be wasted on a crook being interviewed by sub-standard dullard of an interviewer.”
“I like Joel and I like the SOUP... But I don't think he connected with the crowd last night, by reading every one liner joke from a cheat sheet. I though he did a very less then average job. Actually I turned it off, before he had even finished. It was not the quantity, nor the quality of his performance. It just wan not that funny.”

“I'm not going to criticize your sense of humor, but, it really sucks. :D”
“This position of the Germany, supported by the U.S. is proof positive that at every turn business motives, and corporate interest's trump the lives and security of the common man, Yes, they may be Ukrainian's, strangers to us, but they have lived in peace since WWII, and now the powers that may be able to save them much anguish, postpone and muddle any idea of sanctions, supporting the financial demands of German and European businesses over the happiness and liberty of an entire people. After Hitler in Sudetenland and Mao in Tibet, I would have hoped corporations and their interests would have a less prominent roll in geopolitics, when the peace and freedom of an entire people is at risk.”
“Once the last of these great independent book stores closes down, we will all be forced to watch or read what the multinational mega retail stores want us to read. It is bad enough that Wal-Mart as an example, sensors books that legitimize gay themes, and ban them from their shelves. Losing these fabulous book stores is akin to banning independent film, leaving us with Man of Steel #9, and Spider Man #7.”
“Honestly, I hope these higher prices allow them to produce decent food. I took my family there for the very first time, and it was simply awful. I heard that the freshness, and quality was far superior to anything else out there, but the food was truly gross. Never again...”

“What part was "gross"? Just curious... because they pretty much only have basic ingredients... rice, beans, meat, cheese, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, etc.
Which of those ingredients was "gross" and what was "gross" about it? I've never had anything but the freshest food from Chipotle, so I'm curious if they had bad food or if maybe you just don't like Mexican...”
