I stated that he sold when they matured.”

“I find it odd that they left off Steve Jobs. This was a man who never in his life compromised but instead made others around him conform to his point of view. When he left Apple he sold all but 1 share. Even after coming back he never kept stock in the company. He became a billionair after the sale of Pixar and not from Apple.”

“I will have to say that his poor choice of words toward a co-worker with another co-worker would cause anyone to lose there job. This was a work function so he should have lost his job. I totally agree with the ohter comments say if the tables had been turned that Mr. Washington would have been all over the news screaming. On his acting he is a supporting actor and not a top billed star and if he thought the show was his breakout chance he was wrong. Poor scripts and acting do not make you an A list star and poor choice of words doesn't make you one or keep you as one ask the guy Mel Gibson. We expect our roll models and people we hold out and say they're Great to maintain an image of being better then we see ourselves but when one acts in a way that is beneath our own image then they lose their luster. Mr. Washington take note of Mrs Deen because you were little know as Gibson or Deen you have a small chance but these other two they will now and forever be known for their choice of words.”

“I do like the Touch ID but they needed more then a cheaper iPhone which is the same price as the current model sold. They need to invest in the iWatch and need to do a lot more with Apple TV. Having two Apple TV's I would love to cut the cable cord and just get the channels I watch which is about 10. The new Pro computer seems great but it's not on the market yet and now have to wait another week for iOS 7 to be released. Jobs was great in the fact he said Available Today. They need a new line and we will have to wait to see about iRadio. They also silently killed off iCards which was an app that I loved. I've sent Tim Cook an email and really hope that he has things coming out soon.”

“So which is better running a campaign on Change or one one Fear of Attack. By the way my replies have been deleted too. This is my second response.”

batmancw on May 30, 2013 at 10:25:56

“well, obviously a campaign of "change" is better--the problem is--IMO, not too much has "changed".  HC is STILL a mess(and getting messier as the implementation of the ACA hits snafu after snafu) & prices for individual policy holders like myself have skyrocketed(i have seen a 70% increase since 2010)  yes, we are out of Iraq, but that withdrawal was planned under the Shrub & this Admin was negotiating up to the 11th hour to leave anywhere from 15-50,000 troops there indefinitely.  The expansion of the war in Afghanistan was a MAJOR mistake IMO & i have quite a few friends who served there that feel the same way.  The economy is being kept afloat by the FED & cheap money that isnt really "making its way" to the Middle Class, 60% of the "new" jobs pay only $9-15 /hour per the NELP report. As we talked about before--O has expanded the privacy invasion abilities granted by the PA & authorized funding for the use of up to 30,000 drones over US skies, and I could go on & on.  That said--yeah "change" beats "fear" BUT--it wasnt followed up on with results & YES, i would agree that since 2010 Congress is largely to blame, but I was VERY dissapointed to see that the ONLY major initiative the DEMS went after in their 2 years of control was the ACA.  IMO, CFR & term limits would have had FAR more lasting & positive effects, but NEITHER party REALLY wants to address either of those because they dont want to cut their own purse-strings.  Also Tax reform would have had a more profound & lasting effect, but again--BOTH parties talk about it, but so far--no real significant actions”

“So are you saying someone (I left these out the first time on purpose) Reagan is a great leader (which I believe) because the economy did well, we won the arms race but seeing that he worked with Tip O'Neal to get things done which in turn is the true cause of what we have been going thru the past few years? Maybe the fact that all that Clinton went thru he still worked with Newt and got stuff done adding again to our current problems would be a great leader. Someone like Kennedy who inspired the youth that they should do something gave NASA a mission that created a whole new industry while having a balanced budget is bad? What about George W Bush who with people who had been in DC since the early 70's was great for lying to get us into a war, creating TARP and bailing out companies and banks but not the people who pay the most in taxes. So which in your opinion is your better President. I didn't delete your post I have nothing to lose either way.”

batmancw on May 30, 2013 at 10:14:14

“Actually I didnt say anything of the kind.  Reagan wasnt my choice for Prez back then, though I think he did well with his negotiation with the former Soviet Union & the fact that he surrounded himself with pretty competent people.  Clinton, whom i voted for twice, would be my "favorite" modern Prez precisely because he did work with the GOP & got them to work with him to balance the FGovts budget & MOST importantly--he kept us out of any major conflicts that drug on for years & years.  Bush would get my award for the "worst prez" in modern times due to all the many things he is routinely criticized about here & i have nothing positive to say about him, despite the economy doing pretty well from 2003-late 2007(at least , the stock market did--7000 point run up & unemployment was in the "normal" range of 4-6%)  BTW--I didnt suggest YOU deleted the post--just that someone who didnt like my criticisms of the current Prez did, because again--there was nothing in it that qualified as an "attack" on you.”

“Becasuse someone read it is thought it was an attack on someone was the response that I got when I tried to reply. The Fact is the President cannot introduce a Bill into Congress on a Congressman can do that so there are 536 other people who vote for or against a Bill so that the President can sign it. A President will not give up a Power that the Execitive Office has. The Power was give to the Office and not the Person. A President is a Leader, a Voice, a Giver of Bold Ideas. From Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, FDR, Kennedy these LEADERS have driven us to become better people under their LEADERSHIP. In providing this Leadership they have fought, demanded, and even given more Power to the Office. Jefferson did things from doubling the size of our nation without Congress even knowing about it to fighting Wars againg pirates in the Med. There are 536 persons up the road from the White House who are the Voice of the PEOPLE who elected them.”

“The President cannot introduce a Bill into Congress. so once again it would be Congress.  Next Blocking everything isn't the answer and that is why the Republican are losing with the added fact that they are trying to hold a President accountable for 1 the budget - it comes from the House, 2  Blocking every nomatation which causes back log, 3 it doesn't matter the Democrates at this time have the upper hand and the Republican Party is going further and further to the Right Wing Nut side.  I can do this forever with you so please just give up and look at the facts.  You can say that Obama is a socilist but if you look at it who wants to put arm guards in schools.  Who wants it so that you don't have choices in healthcare? Who lied and sent us to two wars? The list goes on and on until the Republican Party starts to speak for the PEOPLE and not corprate America then they will have a Party again. ”

Or do you mean that fact that even after the Deocrates give into the demands the Republican want it's still not enough to get Congress moving forward.  Better yet is the fact that the Democrates have be branded the Tax and Spend Party or the facts that the 8 years under a Republican White House and complete control of Congress leading to 2 wars, the Patroit Act being signed originally or the fact when they took control the budget was balanced and we would have been in a surplus?  Please explain.”
