Was U.S. Soldier Who Killed Two Army Buddies Shattered by Iraq Tragedy?

“The 2 positions are not polar opposites. You can feel compassion towards the man for returning home with a broken mind and not getting the help he desparately needs, and at the same time not want him at your dinner table for his recent transgressions. He needs help putting his mind back together, and then needs to be punished for his crimes.
You can't treat returnign soldiers like throw-aways.”

“Another thing is that I am not so much into punishing him, as I am just keeping society safe from him. I know that we can never be really safe, but we can be a lot safer than if we didn't try.”

“So when that acutally DOESN'T happen, will you change your position and embrace what Obama is trying to accomplish, or do you simply like to project your opinion as fact without regard to factual basis or guilt by association?”

“What is he trying to do lets see. Government run health care for the collective. Paying off unions with Chrysler and more for the head of the collective. Cap and Trade which will destroy a lot of business so they have to come to government. Owning banks, insurance companies, and car companies. The smart grid so the temp in your home can be controlled centrally for the good of the collective.. The new internet laws so government can tell you what to read for the good of the collective.. EPA just made CO2 a pollutant so if you want to stop Global warming hold your breath.”

Neocons only accept something as being "factual" or "logical" if it fits into their tidy, little worldview, otherwise they deem it as illogical--such as what you just claimed.”

“I used to love going to my Grandma's house, she always had the latest copies of The Enquirer & The Star, and i loved to read about the aliens and the weird babies, or the calf with 2 heads. My Grandma loved it too, but even though I was only a child, we both new we were just enjoying a guilty pleasure of reading something that was clearly fictituous. There in lies the rub, Fox clearly represents itself as providing "News", when it's agenda is actually much broader, and little if anything is ever reported without first being processed through a right-wing uber-conservative viewing lens, thus bastardizing what they call the "News". This is not protected under any amendment because it is a practiced misrepresentation designed to feed those that crave something to supported a belief system they already have. It is in fact a false representation of the facts, not simply a dissenting voice. It is indefensible and honestly_disgusting to someone who would like the facts to represent themselves.”

And don't give me that "Bush consulted Obama" garbage either. they may have discussed it, but Bush was his own man and made his decision based on the issue at the time.”
