Do I agree with everything he is doing? No.
Do I trust he is doing everything to the best of his ability and thus representing us the people as best as possible? Yes.
Am I happy that corporate and financial interests still seem to rule our political system? No.
Is there still much work to be done? Yes.
I trust my President saw a need for the Patriot Act to be reinstated along with holding prisoners without due process. It wasn't like he would snap his fingers and all would be right in the world.

I would be happy to have other legitimate parties to consider come next election, but to date I have seen nothing that would make me believe that is possible, not even from the Republicans.”

1) Twist the story so as to interpret whatever is being reported as somehow a negative on the President or the Democratic Party.

2) Repeat it often, and the not so bright one's will actually believe it (Think Palin, Joe the Plumber).

3) Take every opportunity to demean the President's name, afterall, we couldn't get that Birth Certiifcate nonsense to fly, so lets just make fun of his name.

4) When confronted with facts, either run away or lie some more. Whatever you do, do not engage in dialogue, we simply are not that smart.

5) If all else fails, bury your head in the sand and pretend it didn't happen. Nobody can make you believe anything you do not want to believe.

6) Rinse and Repeat as needed.
