No problem, if she doesn't marry she can keep her pension (a/k/a alimony) and child support, while accuring an interest her new man's estate.
If she plans it right, she will have another child. That way she can keep her current child support, and accrue another source of income, a child.
Now in that case she will have to be careful of her timing. If she wants both a second round of alimony from the new man, plus child support for the new child, she will have to be careful, as she did this time, to stay married long enough to maximize her pension.
If she plans it right, she may have a third opportunity before she get beyond child bearing age.”
