Formula One Is Back to the U.S. After a Five-year Hiatus. Will It Stick?

Commented Nov 15, 2012 at 16:00:33 in Sports

“No. the race is being held 1 hour away from me, however I can't watch it. I don't get Speed channel on my TV package anymore because I can't afford it. More Americans would get into F1 if we can watch in on a local channel. Not all of us have it in our budgets to the extra TV packages. F1 wants American fans, so they should make it possible for us to watch it. I remember growing up in England with only 4 local channels, and was able to watch every race.”

“Um, F1 sells the rights to speed, it is up to your cable company where they price speed at or what package it is in.

F1 would love to still be on ESPN but they dont even want it, they want football and baskerball”
