As one of the readers also put it, she doesn't want to let go of her spotlight. In a way she's the female Bill Clinton. Someone who doesn't want to let go. She also isn't being gracious and humble.

Hopefully one of the governors at the conference in Florida will take her aside and tell her nicely to maybe step out of the limelight for a while.
