“I am a movie buff and saw 5 movies this past Saturday; i.e., Contraband, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Red Tails, Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol and Sherlock Holmes. I like all sorts of movies and will continue to go see them. But I must say that the actors need to cut their salaries down. Why should they make a million dollars for 3 or 6 months of work, when most people make $35 to 50K a year? Also, what's wrong with liking action movies? Some of the things that are nominated for Golden Globes, Oscars, etc. are so boring that most people fall asleep while watching them. The Screen Actors Guild nominate movies that they think the public want to see and most of them are really boring. I normally won't watch any of the movies that are nominated for awards until they come out on cable. When I go to the movies, I want action!!! Something that is really exciting. As far as the Transformers movies go. They rock!!!

An actor steaks their career on providing character immersion into a production and we, the audience, are willing to pay top dollar for the service... Most of that profit goes to the production company and that profit is based on what that celebrity can yield in fan base.
The problem is in the consumption of entertainment, meaning we're the problem not the celebrity...
If you don't like what they're getting paid, stop seeing the movies... It's simply a matter of supply a demand.”

“No one said action movies couldn't be good, just that most blockbusters are pandering to the lowest common denominator. Transformers BTW is the worst movie series of the last 20 years, next to Twilight and extremely boring.”
