“Congratulations Mark! That is an amazing thing! I also lost my weight by cutting sugar, carbs and artificial sweeteners. I am wondering if you cut out artificial sweeteners altogether or just the soda? Kicking the diet soda habit seems to be a key with my weight loss! Thanks so much for motivating us.”

“I think you need to change what you eat.
You need to eat less fat and flour.
There are a lot depends of the food.
I used a lot of different diets, but only what helped to me is a gym and revise my menu.
Unfortunately, I'm cooking bad :(.
But my friend recommended me a site http://www.funnycookingbook.com.
There I was able to find a book with lots of recipes to lose weight.
Sorry for my English. It's my third language”
“Swaddling doesn't include tying any knots or putting anything over the face - THIS IS NOT SWADDLING, this is tying kids up. Swaddling is for newborns too, not 7-12 month olds, and tight swaddling is very useful for colic babies.”

“Yea, after 6 weeks its not something I continued to do, Not to mention by then my kid would kick right out of the blanket.”
“70% Think it is sometimes necessary, yet 90% of them spank? So 20% of them do it and KNOW it isn't necessary? Hmmm, sounds like a great study. I was raised being spanked, with a belt sometimes. I was shocked when a friend in college told me his parents never spanked and that the look of disappointment on the parents was enough to set the kids straight. That and getting grounded from their favorite activities.
My belief now is that spanking is all about angry parents, not good parenting. Sure some kids are more difficult than others, but a spanking won't fix that. Consistency and knowing her kids currency, those are the keys to raise good kids who obey... IMHO.”

“I thing you are absolutely right. And trust me, I want to hit mine sometimes for sure, but only if I'm pissed. That look of disappointment is so much more effective, as is beaming with pride when they do it right.”

“Did you ever consider going gluten-free without buying all those products labeled and marketed as "Gluten-Free". There is a really big difference and many people have trouble with this concept. But pretty much any food where it says "FREE!" on the label uses other ingredients to make up for the texture, flavor, etc. A Paleo type diet is one example of a plan that is naturally gluten free. Just a thought!”
“#1 - I hope no children are relying on you for safety
#2 - This tsunami is said to be a Positive Wave, which means that it leads with a giant wave and will not suck the harbor water first.
#3 - You dont trust their maps and plan, but you KNOW you live 2 blocks from the ocean. You dont need anything but common sense to know you could be in danger.
#4 - You are going to outrun the tsunami? REALLY?
Glad you are okay, but wish you used common and sense and I hope your post didnt encourage other to stay put too. Being safe is being smart. Sorry but this was SO frustrating to read.”

“Agreed. Also, think about the 3 people swept out to sea while watching the surge in CA, only two were recovered. This is not something to treat casually.”

“Binge eating is such a problem for those of us struggling with our weight, and it doesnt get addressed enough. I have trigger foods and trigger situations that seem to set it off. I have recently lost 47 lbs and have been following Jorge Cruise's Belly Fat Cure program that lowers your sugar intake and eliminates artificial sweeteners. It has really really worked for me and I write about it on my blog Me and Jorge (http://www.meandjorge.com)”
