“Yeah, with all the mini tabs that are coming out, you can intergrate a new phone and mp3 and put alot of music on it: like the Samsung Fascinate, which is the same size as this new Infuse. Pesonally, I want to seperate devices. I dont want my mp3 player plugged into the stereo when the phone rings. Dont know who you are with, but I just bought the Fascintate with Verizon for $ 20 - Google search Verizon Samsung Fascinate for the extra $ 30 off coupon. There is 14GB of hard card space on the Fascinate, plus you can add more. I havent tried to see if it will intergrate with Itunes as everyone tells me it wont.

And, if you dont know what SWYPE is, you are missing out big time!”

“You can try to find the Ipod 16GB touch for around $ 200, but there arent many around and even everywhere online, they are sold out. Besides, whats the point of paying this much for a 16GB when you can have a 32GB for a little more.

I have a 64GB Ipod Touch, Im 50 years old so my music collection goes pretty far back, and in the past 2 years, Ive only used up 12GB for 2200 songs, or about 220 albums.

Stop and think about this : You are going to use your Ipod all the time. At home, in your car, while your shopping or playing. You can plug it into any stereo in your house, plug it into the cigarette lighter in your car, and never have to go crazy looking for CDs again,

I burned around 100 CDs to my computer, and to my Ipod in 3 days and put the CDs away for good. Think about how much youve paid in the past for CD players, speakers, car stereos. I know Ive spent around 20 grand in my life!

My husband swore up and down he would never go mp3 but now, he uses mine in the house and the garage, and its time I get him his own! Since all teh music is already on my pc, all I have to do is plug in a new ipod, and all the music will be on his ipod too.. minus the stuff he hates.”

“I could suggest many different reliable brands of MP3 players but If you are new to MP3 players, then you need to get an Ipod. It is the only brand Im aware of that integrates well with Itunes software. Itunes software will allow you to organize your music easily. You could get a 16gb Zune or Samsung, but spend the extra $100 and get a 32GB Ipod Touch and it will hold all the music you ever want. You can get the 32GB Ipod on Amazon for $ 275.”

The Public Will Blame the GOP for a Shutdown in 2011, Just As It Did in 1995

Commented Apr 6, 2011 at 11:06:01 in Politics

“I intend on taking my vengance out against the Republicans at the polls, again and again. It is the only way to stop this nonsense.

Im hoping that Obama and the Democrats will run STRONG campaigns online because I firmly believe that that this was done well in the last presidential election, but poorly in the last primary. I think there is a direct link to the Democrats success in the last presidental election and their strong online campaign, particularly in the way of young voters. The more text messages sent to cell phones and pdas, the more online ads and exposure, the more the general public hears and sees what the Republican and Tea Baggers have done, the better chance the Democrats have of taking back the house. They need to start online ads NOW - promoting the fact that the Republicans dont care... in oh so many ways !”

“Roy49- I Agree ! In my 50 yrs on this planet, I never thought in my wildest dreams that we would take out Hussein- especially after Reagan put him there in the first place.
It is clear to me that the writing is on the wall, and Gadhafi's only way out will be by the redeeming hands of his people, around his neck.
It has been so long since Ive heard this filthy monster spew his evil, before all this started, I actually thought I remembered that he was over thrown a few decades ago!
Goes to show you how quiet evil lerks over there...until FB & Twitter came along !
We are living - right now- in a new age era- when revolutions are started online ! Shocking to me, when I had to convince people by the hundreds back in 1985 that the internet was real, was not a fad and was here to stay, and would change the world ! I saw the writing on the wall back then too....
This whole Libyan revolution will be over in a month when the people kill him stone cold dead.”

“Yep, true, but not merge. Twitter and Facebook serve different purposes.
The writing is on the wall. Its not a prediction, its a self-fulling prophecy in the tech world and governments have nothing to do with it, except rise or fall in conjunction with it.”

“The value in Twitter is global communication, in the fastest sense, on the planet.
Some people use it for everyday chit chat, but the folks in Egypt used it to feed CNN and bring down a regime.”

“Face it. Google, Facebook, and Twitter has just PROVED that they can change the world. SayNow technology was implemented in a just a few days, so all you needed was a cell or land line phone to post to your account.

What if I told you that the internet will soon be free to everyone worldwide? Google has the ability to launch and own their own satellites and if you have a Google PDA, you will be able to get online direct- no provider needed, sort of like your GPS. You would pay to surf, but posting to certain sites would be free. FREE worldwide communication. No one could shut it down, like Iran or Egypt gov't did.

Who do you think will own the world ? Governments, or Google ?
Im putting my money on Google.
Geez, you folks ever heard of Virgil ? Google is going to Mars!
Twitter is essential : it enables the fastest breaking news to flow.”

“The answer lies not in new pipelines and natural gas infrastructure. The answer lies in green technology. If you think gas explosions are bad, you havent seen the documentary Gasland by Josh Fox. http://www.gaslandthemovie.com/

We are in crisis, allowing big oil to push natural gas drilling, and if you dont believe it, talk to some of the people in the western US who can light their sink faucets on fire ! Not to mention what fracking does to our fresh water supply and the environment.

We need to get off nautral gas too folks ! Natural gas is not green, and it's not clean!”

“If you take a hand gun class, the first thing they teach you is to NEVER point a gun at anyone unless you intend to kill them. Defending yourself with a gun means it is a life and death situation, and simply injuring the person is not what you want to do.

So, if I paint a target on your head Barbara, and put it up on my website, do you think I am trying to direct butterflies to land on your head ?

Palin has frequently used terms like " lock and load" and " time to reload" and it implies a fondness for guns and is aimed at gun nuts. She cant take her actions and words back and say, " Oh, that is not what I meant". People in the spotlight must realize that their actions and words DO influence others.”

The Egyptian People Have Changed the World -- It's Their Turn to Lead

Commented Feb 12, 2011 at 09:13:47 in Religion

“The Egyptian people did not change the world: Facebook, Twitter, and Google have changed the world, allowing the Egyptian tech savvy youth to bring about change. The SayNow technology was implemented in a couple of days, allowing people to post online without any internet service at all. This is a prime example of technology at its best: Did you ever think a revolution would start online?
IMO, Google, Facebook, and Twitter need to launch their own satellite so anyone with a Google PDA can get a direct link, like GPS works. Then there would be no need for internet service providers at all, and no one could shut down world wide communication.
This is how the internet could become free for everyone worldwide. If you have a Google, Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube account, your service could be free to post or read these sites. You would pay for r surfing the web, and what companies wouldn't want to advertise to the world via this method ?
It is the advent and implementation of new technology that will service the needs of people world wide, and allow them to reshape their culture, governements, and the whole world we all live in.
Look what Google and Richard Branson are doing with project Virgil : Sending rockets to Mars : A space mission to colonize Mars! So, who do you think will end up controling the world ? Governments, or Google ? Call me crazy, but Im putting my money on Google !”
