“You are too lacking in facts and very ill-informed. Does it ever occur to you that many of you so-called "pro-lifers" are really Pro-Death instead? Shame on you! If it isn't your specialty and only an opinion, then why do you subscribe to the fanaticism of these "pro-life" cults to convey your point as if it were "fact"? There's a button in the middle of your forehead and when you push it, it is "off". Next comes the needle and thread for your mouth!”

“How strange to read articles in the HuffPost and include ridiculous videos that are lousy and the others show nothing except ISS in space. Very shallow! What's going on with HuffPost with the Nat'l Enquirer standards for news and articles? No wonder no one takes anything seriously and the ones who do don't understand this is not anything real but entertainment only? What I might take more seriously on the subject is the fact that the Coast Guard there on Cape Cod has a special research unit that has documented information and actually seen UFO's. no one ever hears that news, but many have known this for years. They keep records of all activity. Quiz: How many of you know how many special units there are around the country, if not the world that is observing, documenting, and researching this (without doing tabloid mentality and 'standards'?). if you want to see real ISS, it is www.nasa.gov . Not this stuff searching for "facts" in the entertainment forms of hilarious newspapers! Alright HuffPost---a big LOL.”

“I'm fairly sure most of the UFO stuff is noise, promoted by the gov't, to distract us from some of the real stuff that's going on. Not only prosaic stuff like illegal wiretapping, etc, but also projects like their highly successful interdimensional travel project we're working on with the Indian military.”

“And eye for an eye (blinding experience), spare the rod (beat the crap out of), and all the rest of the practices of people at the time these books were written and these holy rolling fanatics think we still live in them. More heretical. What happened then was supposed to be improved in our evolution. Much does not work. The only thing that makes a really Bad Book any good might be the Ten Commandments. The rest is likely misused in delusional gibberish. It's too bad. See how it gets?”

“Just a blurb here--when I wanted health insurance I was turned down because of pre-existing conditions. I nearly died twice, paid thousands out-of-pocket, too sick to continue work, the money all gone and my house too. Only Medicaid did not discriminate and it was Medicaid that helped get my life saved. As for MA, how much amending is going on? These so-called "forcings" you relate, especially in MA, have had programs that have helped so many. With the Federal parts of the law being implemented, healthcare has gotten far more accessible. I don't see how the federal reform jumped the gun so much as it is still in the making, new enough that the kinks still need to be ironed out. If you recall, Hillary Clinton went all around the country when Bill was Pres. and she was trying to get health reform. This was thought out and studied for many years. Even before Romney. The idea is not that new. You mention all increases, but don't balance with decreases. I'm interested to know where you got these sources. Just saying.”

cooledtube on Nov 19, 2012 at 22:36:59

“I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the health care system and I'm glad you were able to get treatment. I don't deny that health care needs reforming. I don't think anyone denies that. But why is it the federal government's responsibility? The reason I support states' rights is because everyone has a stronger voice within state governments, allowing the citizens to make changes that more closely address their situations. The law in Mass. has had proposed amendments and changes over the last few years. It has helped many and it is still evolving. It may work as a state initiative there, but maybe it doesn't work everywhere. That's why I'd rather the federal government not apply the same concept to every state, especially when you bring up the innovation that can result from 50 states throwing around different ideas.

The mandate and exchanges are required under the plan. I believe the tax increases come into effect in 2013. The wikipedia page displays every change and when it becomes effective.

I agree that reforms weren't getting done in very good time. But within states, the people can directly propose anything. Maybe that shows poor prioritizing by the American voter.”

“The states haven't been handling it. Prior to health reform nothing was being done. These states don't have either enough resources or not at all. Too many in the state governments have been doing nothing to improve or balance healthcare and it's costs. Too many of them do not get the programs for the people in order nor adequately. This is why nationwide people voted for the reform. It wouldn't feel so "forced" on you if you'd realize that it isn't. You sound like you don't understand the Affordable Healthcare Act.”

cooledtube on Nov 19, 2012 at 19:43:33

“"Romneycare" was implemented in Mass. and is still being amended. If/when other states determined whether it was successful or not they would follow or try something different, especially with health care becoming more and more political. The federal reform jumped the gun. I don't think you understand ACA if you don't see how much is being forced or "mandated." Purchasing insurance, state exchanges, increased FICA, increased tax on unearned income, increased tax on medical devices, etc. Or is that all voluntary?”

“Sam Walton himself, the one whom started Walmart was more interested in the welfare of the people and made things affordable for people to buy. He wouldn't have stooped to this level of Black Friday mania to this extreme. Remember when Walmart only sold products made in the USA? I don't shop there anymore. It is not just Walmart that all-Chinese products are sold. It is everything you touch. Sam Walton was good to employees and the community. He was more kind-hearted. A store clerk was treated with respect, not just a body. It's a shame how much has changed.”

“Yep. Republicans want a republic & Democrats want a democracy. Is the divide any bigger than that? What's with this Fallin? She says she "deeply cares about the health of Oklahomans"; did she before? No. Other states too listed here, are way behind the times & with inflation. OK isn't listed in these low-income figures, but what's with KS, MO & others that one can't make more than (approx) $2,500 to qualify for Medicaid? This is so sick & beyond cruelty. How does someone making a penny over that amount to pay for surgery? Likely isn't getting surgery. The statistics & investigations done on people needing care live very short & miserable lives. More deaths could be prevented. Fallin, your own party is going against the kind of tide you're riding on. You won't cooperate, though the people in your state voted for the healthcare reform. What'll you do if you run out of money & need tons of care to save your life Fallin? Tell your backscratching buddies you can't afford it? States that are too cheap to consider they don't pay anything, but the government does to help get exchanges & programs going. Later, the states run it on their own. These states aren't cooperating with the people & the law. These so-called "leaders" should be investigated for competence, stability, & experience. I don't see that in these states. They do nothing but make poor people poorer living in grinding poverty. That's what we would expect to hear”

“Just like he did to Massachusetts and it was #47 in the country (out of 50 states). He damn near sunk the state with lots of red ink. It was not soley he that created the mandatory healthcare in MA. It was formed by others working alongside and the idea was not solely his. After it was created and implemented, he kind of just walked off and left it and it was others whom ironed out all the kinks. It is questionable how much he really devoted to healthcare. But it was enacted and is still in motion today. Even if Romney repeals the Affordable Healthcare Act, it will still be going in MA. It is the states whom will create their own mandatory healthcare. Other states were going to do it, but since Pres. Obama was elected and it passed through the Federal government, these states had no need to. Just for your information.”

I hope that you can heal as well as you can. My only way to channel my outrage at the healthcare problem is to be involved in helping others get access to it. Think what happens when you can rescue others. I didn't think it was possible, but I'm glad I did. For every person saved, I know the one I lost to lack of healthcare where he lived is blessed and happier where he is. I can fell him in my heart and feel a sense of happiness when I see the rescued alive and happy. I know it isn't easy, but just a thought. I will think of you tomorrow when I vote. Peace to you.”
