“Just that statement alone makes me want to boycott Tims for good. Their hatred of paying a good wage for good work makes me sick. I know a lot of Canucks who are very skilled and looking for work. Tim's just doesn't want to pat them a fair wage. They lost my business for that statement.

This is an issue that can sink the Tories if they're not careful.

If I were the NDP or Liberals, I would make the an election issue. I would tell people that I would scrap the TFW program completely if they voted for me. Create a new immigrant program that is more like the old one, only used for high skilled jobs where there is a legitimate absence of Canadians available to do the work.”

“As someone who deals with anger issues everyday, I often tell people that our anger is like a volcano. Sometimes it's good to release a little steam to make sure pressure doesn't build. The more you let your anger build, the larger the eruption when you eventually do let go. It's always better to give in to your anger in short bursts or you'll go up like Mount St. Helen's.”

chatnuptime1 on Mar 31, 2014 at 03:19:38

“Productive release.. Have a few valves to open up and shoot like old fatihful.. It's a wonder Yellowstone hasn't erupted in 70,000 years. It has so many vents to let off pressure. It is probably the most stable active volcano on earth. We should do the same.. Leak a bit of energy constructively, regularly.”

“A close friend is like that. He lets it build up, and then once the trigger is pressed, "Bam!" I get it with both barrels. A good listener, however, will allow the other person to explain. It's all about communication. I've always believed that talking about something that causes anger to build up is extremely important, rather than bottling it up, hoping it'll go away. It doesn't. It just worsens.”
New Clues Emerge About Why Autism Is More Common In Boys

New Clues Emerge About Why Autism Is More Common In Boys

“1) Dr. Wakefield's accusations of fraud were retracted by the BMJ as a complete fabrication. His work is now being studied in other nations to see if his results can be duplicated. His fraud accusations was a smear job by big pharm that wanted to keep rolling in mega profits from hurting kids.

2) So you're going to tell every parent that watched a healthy child regress right after taking their MRR that we're liars? We witnessed this regression with our own eyes, and the fact that thousands of parents witnessed the same thing should make anyone pause and reflect.

3) If you bothered to read any of Wakefield's report, it would tell you that the vaccine may have caused a shock to the brain which caused the regression. Basically what Wakefield is suggesting is that severe brain trauma is being misdiagnosed as autism.

4) I am not trying to downplay or insult you, but the circumstances surrounding my son's diagnosis is similar to those other parents have experienced with regards to the MMR. I'm calling for more research and independent investigation. That's not too much to ask for. If the MMR is harmful, then the vaccines should be administered separately which is what Wakefield asked for, not a complete end to the vaccines.”

It offers no evidence to back the claim that the BMJ ever did retract their claim against Wakefield bceuse, they never have. Wakefield is still prohibited from practicing medicine in the UK. Furthermore, it offers no links to where the studies it mentions as backing Wakefield's research, have been published. But like I said, good try...NOT!”

“It's amazing how all these people are coming forward to lash out at a parent that is concerned about the safety of vaccines, especially the MMR. Believe it or not, if I knew now what I didn't know then, I wouldn't have vaccinated my kids either. My son Jon started walking at 10 months old and said his first words (mama) at 12 months. He regressed after taking his MMR and was diagnosed as autistic two years later. There is no history of autism in either family, which is odd since this is supposed to be something 'genetic'. Now my son has been traumatized and might have to be cared for his entire life. Thousands and thousands of parents around the world are sharing stories EXACTLY like mine. Normal kids with good development hitting a brick wall when the take the MMR. This is why parents are hesitant to use the MMR, because they don't trust big pharm which has refused to properly investigate. I don't blame them for being cautious. Shame on anyone to lash at her for not wanting to play Russian roulette with her son's life.”

D213 on Mar 17, 2014 at 20:52:26

“Sorry, but I am very certain you have a history of it in one side or another. Vaccines have nothing to do with it and it's people like you that start trouble. I would be willing to bet you have even been around said family members with autism and would not have a clue, because you don't know how to identify the spectrum. Quit sharing stupid and ignorant nonsense.”

Liliana Munoz Spellman on Mar 16, 2014 at 09:33:43

“You claim that there is no history of autism in your family? so are you aware of your families history, both sides, maternal and paternal to well maybe since the beginning of your bloodline? In case, you have forgotten genes can resurface from way back. Ever heard of black people having a light(white child) or the opposite. Genes are funny that way, kind of like playing a joke on people.”

“It's almost hard for me to reply, given how much stupidity you're sharing. It upsets me so much when I see a parent equate autism with some kind of death sentence. Guess what - I'm autistic. I live on my own. I have a degree. I know non-speaking autistics who do the same thing. I know autistics who need round the clock care who still have fulfilling lives, because they can communicate in other ways besides speech. You offend me by thinking we are somehow less than. I would tell you to presume competence, but I'm guessing you'll be one of those stupid parents who will tell me I'm "not like their child", or accuse me of not really being autistic because I can type. I feel sorry for your son.”
