“I think it was only 60% because not everyone knew about the poll...
I would have voted if I knew...”

“Me, too. i would've voted, so I'm sure the count would've been much higher. I say impeach the president and fire all of Congress. I personally wouldn't give them a license to run McDonalds or hire them to operate the french fryer.”
“I will only get this if... And ONLY if our Government officials toss out their private insurances and get on this as well.. If its "Perfect" for us.. they should have no qualms getting it themselves, right?”

“Congress is required to join the exchanges.”

“I totally agree. I am so tired of laws being passed that pertain to everyone BUT government officials.”

“Exactly! They're avoiding telling us why they're running from Obamacare like rats from a sinking ship.”
“I'm not into child abuse.. but if the parents aren't going to discipline their children someone has to. We coddle everything and everybody as a society too much now.. and look where that has gotten us... self entitled, whiny, selfish, horrible, misbehaved citizens. If my child went to this school and did something that warranted a "spanking" then by all means. Because if they don't, when they come home they will get that "spanking". There is a difference between discipline and abuse. The misguided sheeple that do not see this line... you are the reason everyone has an issue... you are the reason we are having a horrible society to live in anymore.”
“I agree there.... especially at the end when the woman asked "will you still bomb Syria if congress does not approve?" He just walked off... you could see the reflection in the windows of the doors he was not amused by that question so you know he heard it...”
“You know what... the way things are going in this society.. she'll be called every name under the sun (perpetuating hate they preach shouldn't exist) they have the right to be gay.. she has the right to not like it... its her stance on it. I applaud her backbone on it and not selling herself out to appease the popularity contest... everyone sees gays and gay supporters and if you're not drinking the "koolaide" you get ridiculed just as bad as being gay to start with... being straight anymore is becoming worse then being gay.
Hate to burst everyone's bubble but not everyone HAS to be on the boat about gays.. they are people that are not going to condone it. and because this is America... they have the right to stand by their belief.. whether we like it or not. that's the beauty of this thing...”

"I applaud her backbone on it and not selling herself out to appease the popularity contest..."
What in god's name do you think she's doing? Oh yeah, selling her soul and her sister out to appease the rabid base of the bagger party. Do you really think that if she wasn't trying to outdo her opponent in regressive thinking that she would have made that statement. Your picture must be next to the word "naive" in the dictionary. No wait, scratch that. Next to the word "clueless" would be more accurate. What a rube.”

“So be true to your screen name and stay off the boat. It's a one-way ticket that is coming back any time soon, if ever. Enjoy your solitude.”

“You have every right to your opinion. No denies you that. You just don't have the right to deny other people their rights because it makes you uncomfortable.”
“I didn't think of it from that angle... the mother looking for a few minutes (or weeks) of fame?... could happen in this society.. people fake things every day to get a rouse.. mothers telling the neighborhoods their child has cancer or some other deadly sympathy invoking thing... and even shaving the child's head and making the child believe they were ill (it was in the news a few years back... several cases).. I hope beyond all hopes this is not the case.... but we need to think of things skeptically sometimes as well. I don't think she is faking his illness.. but the letter could have been... for now i think i'll take it as face value though.”
Josh Jansen on Aug 29, 2013 at 14:35:23
“His affliction is real, not arguing that.
What I am saying is that her life certainly got better after getting some hate mail, or at least she got a lot more sympathy.”

“I have to agree with the others... for what?
The cops were called by management to help with potential unruly customers... So they were doing their appointed jobs.. don't see a need for punishment there...
And the landlord was doing his business... tenant doesn't pay rent or agree to a lease term (or whatever the issue was they aren't telling us) place gets evicted. Thats business.. totally legal. D**k move of the landlord to do it in the middle of operating hours, but its still quite legal. Deserving of a distasteful look at best, punishment for doing legal business is a tad excessive though.”
“Freedom of Religion. All religion. Even non-religion.
Screamed at by an aethiest that my belief (omitted my religion to see who judges/assumes) was invalid, by the end, got insultive with no point. I quietly replied, then walked away.
"I rather live with my beliefs, not hurting a single person, sometimes even helping others having it wrong. than to live beliefless, cause problems for those that have belief, live life in discord, ruin traditional festivities for others, have no center, and end up dead someday finding out I was completely wrong, spending the rest of eternity in my religion's "Bad Place"."
it is supposed to be freedom of religion. why are the religious the ones not allowed to be free? told daily by religious peers that I must keep an open mind of other religions/cultures, understand and tolerate all. why can I not get the same respects? If there is a religious function that I disagree with, I do not go. I do no cause a stink about it and try to have it banned. I simply do not go. I like to learn about other cultures/religions. But I sense that is not the way in this country. If they do not wish to have religion. That is their choice. Do not get offended by my religion and Force me to abandon it. I am not admonishing them for a lack of religion. I only want the Freedom they go on about. Its only fair.”
eriebound72 on May 25, 2013 at 12:19:08
“The big reason why Christianity is getting challenged is that a very large amount of Christians try to prove its truth, and it's the only true religion. You are truly in the minority of people who give respect for other religions/cultures. In the grand scheme of things, there will always be disputes over religion, due to ones agendas and how they want it spread onto others. Look at the middle east and how there are wars, all over religion and how they want control over the next. This is clearly why seperation of church and state, freedom of and from religion is so important. I respect that you have your faith, but you respect when others don't. I myself am not a religious follower, but I give the respect back. I am really offended though at Christians who go to church on Sundays, and live a totally different life after "punching-out" of church. I know so many of those types of people. Use it as a cover. Oh what I went through when I was younger, pretty much helped me choose to be who I am today.”

“You say you had one run-in with one atheist, yet you're claiming atheists are somehow attempting to deny religious people's rights. Are you aware that when the President said that all Americans, including those who are not "believers" should have the same say in our country, millions of Americans actually disagreed with him and disapproved of his statement? That should tell you something.”
d1anaw on May 25, 2013 at 11:10:00
“What you fail to understand is that just because someone doesn't believe in your god, does not make them beliefless. I'd rather have someone who is honest in their dealings and respectful of your right to believe, than someone who professes to believe in a god and religion that allegedly teaches love, peace, tolerance, acceptance and fidelity, while at the same time doing the exact opposite. The most intolerant, hateful, spiteful, unfaithful people I've come across are those who profess their religion the loudest. They are the ones who use it as a sword and a shield. And then they have the audacity to ask why they are "under attack". As is the usual hypocrisy of the religious right, it's ok for them to attack others but not to experience the reverse for themselves.”
Kyle Wikowsky on May 25, 2013 at 11:09:19
“As there are outspoken Christians, there are outspoken atheists. Please take my word for it that people like the one you encountered are not the majority. You don't notice all of us who quietly walk past or make no comment.”
“This is yet another time I've seen you call her a bad mother.. How dare you. That is very judgemental. People raise kids the best they can. How they act as adults is no longer under the parent's control.
And I'm sure you're perfect, and have your stone primed and ready to cast it right?”
“Why doesnt the government officials; congress, senate etc take a 10% Pay cut each person? That would solve everything. Why cut the constituant's? The government will not touch their money but have no issues touching all of everyone elses... Greed... Pure greed. I wonder if they know they can't take it with them when they die...”
“So the guy should get off scot free to do it again somewhere else all because you agree with him? let all go start breaking laws.. as long as someone else agrees with them we should not have to incur any type of accountability.”
“He said nothing about gays... he said he was for traditional marriage. honestly... it should have offended Jews, Mormons, toaists, budhists, shintoists, muslims etc etc etc etcetc... but no... only the gays took offense because they are waiting for something to jump on and attack.. real commendable there”

“He puts millions of $ into anti-gay hate campaigns that do nothing but disaparage and harm gay people.”
