“I'd really like to buy this series on DVD. Why isn't it available?”

“The licensing fees for all of the music used in the series would set them back a fortune, and when considered with the sales of the first season DVDs, tptb didn't think it was worth it... So wrong...”
“As a Canadian I really can't understand those people who scoff at single payer. To live one's life under a cloud of debt due to illness or tragedy is an awful burden! I hope some of those one percenters get on the ball and contribute!”

“Absolutely correct...........many people live under illusions. My own marriage has been going strong for thirty two years but my heterosexual "community" is no sterling example for marriage or for how to parent children!”

“I don't remember saying it was an excuse. All I'm saying is that this is not a guy who subscribes to any sort of hate mongering. He made a misjudgement. Unfortunately in this age of $0.02 comments people find it easy to jump on a bandwagon to totally humiliate and sabatoge someone whose only offense was to send out an article with a study. No hate, no bigotry, no personal judgement.
Like I said, it was unfortunate and showed that he doesn't have a firm grasp of how it might ignite wildfire...but to go so far to ruin a career over a mijudgement puts everyone who judges him in the same category as those who are bigots themselves.
Ironically, Andrew's actually been to Pride here in Toronto unlike many of the critics on this forum.
If we want be known for tolerance in this country, we ought to be extending it to all parties, not just the ones that cry foul.
In no way do I mean to trivialize the cause of any minority, but this eye-for-an-eye mentality is far from the solution. If we can't make room for discussion then we as a country should be ashamed of ourselves.”
