“How is anyone being prevented from voting?
Are you saying people of color are not able, motivated, smart enough to obtain a I.D. to vote?
How can you have such little faith in a group of people just because of the color of their skin.
I would bet you would be a person who would be more than willing to tell them how to get government assistance and how to get there if not take them.
But you at the same time don't think they can do for themselves.
Why do you want to hold people down? Keep them dependent?”
LesaSays on Dec 1, 2013 at 15:46:02
“Why did many states eliminate "souls to the polls", limit early voting and same day registration in black districts? Why did at least three Republican Elected Officials admit that Voter ID would help the republican party by lowering the number the none-white vote. Why are they purging voter rolls and shorting polling places in largely African American districts. How come you can use your state issued Gun Registration but NOT your state issued school ID or Fed Government ID? I could go on but I'll let you answer those questions first.”
william95 on Dec 1, 2013 at 15:44:43
“Voter ID, shortened voting hours, elimination of Sunday early voting, all aimed at folks of color particularly the older ones and you know it.”
7becket on Dec 1, 2013 at 15:16:19
“With all the evidence pointing to a non existent voter fraud problem, why do we need voter I.D. ???”
“Once again the left is doing its best to redefine a word.
It doesn't say end, ended, it says "ending".
Would they say that someone was wrong is thanking Doctor SonSo in his work on "ending "cancer?
But for those who love to get their dander up over a made up controversy have at it.”
Queen Black on Dec 1, 2013 at 15:16:49
“Remember that big dander with the saying "you didn't build that?" It was taken out of context..but.....did you scold all the ones repeating that saying? if not... then be quiet and let this fizzle out on its own”

“Cancer is a disease of the flesh. Racism is an emotional defect. One may one day be cured and one will never be!”
annie4439 on Dec 1, 2013 at 14:52:52
“I went back up and read it again, and you're right. But I wouldn't blame the "Left" for making up a controversy. It really was worded poorly, it should have been "for her efforts in ending, or her efforts in trying to end racism". (Sort of like your "Doc so and so in his work")”

“rotflmao...birtherisms are your strong points”
Johnnyash on Dec 1, 2013 at 14:46:04
“It's not the one word - it's the fact that the party of "Birthers" and champions of Minority Voter Suppression would send such a hypocritical tweet in the first place....”
magpie411 on Dec 1, 2013 at 14:45:49
“"....and her role in ending racism..." what don't you understand about that quote? Rosa Parks helped spark the civil rights movement. Her actions never began to end anything. The GOP couldn't pass a US History test if their lives depended upon it...”
Arnold Sanders on Dec 1, 2013 at 14:44:23
“They knew what they were saying! If they meant "ongoing" , then they should have add the word "toward". " Ending" implies it stopped!”
Vintage59 on Dec 1, 2013 at 14:42:14
“Once again you earn a D in grammar. You can't remember someone, including Dr. Son So, for something that hasn't happened.
There's still cancer and their is still racism and you still live in Egypt.”
“You miss the boat, ship, plane and train on this one .
You speak of those who can not afford health insurance now. Ding Dong ever hear of Medicaid?
And if they can't afford it how are they going to afford something they are being forced to buy?
Given the choice of owning a house, a car, going on vacation, clothing yourself and family, feeding yourself and family, contributing to a retirement account, or being forced to buy health insurance which do you suppose a late twenty to early thirty year old is going to take?
And single payer is anything but free. I give you this link as a example. And I really thought heir tax ate was around 15% for single payer. according to the link it is as much as 50%.
“You gave the example. It was about taking the blame.
What I gave you was the exact case when you do take the blame. Just as Obama and his administration is to blame. They were told. Period end of story.”

“Really??? Name calling in place of no facts to refute what I said.
Who is it that is whining about not being able to sustain a listening audience? Who is it that is losing views?
Who is it that wants this all fixed through the "fairness doctrine" because they can't take the truth ?
But thanks for validating once again it is the statist who carry the hate to the masses.”

“you made an insipid nonsense comment and now you want dialogue. Amusing.”
“If the contractor tells you the ground is not stable enough or suited to build a house on and you insist on going ahead. Yes it is your fault.
Please don't tell me you think he found Osama but didn't know about this.”
Vanderbil Covington on Dec 1, 2013 at 10:14:26
“Just in my example, you can't always predict stability of ground -- or anything involving many people, for that matter”
“Stay focused on the message. You mean listen to what your being told until you believe it.
I know the tax increases that are coming with this and love the idea that you and all the ones who have wanted this will be screaming like little pigs when those taxes hit you.
And have fun trying to get into doctor.”

“Not surprising...One of the residents in the first group has their "echo chamber" message. down pat. Here's a suggestion Google USA ranking healthcare or any proximity of this search. You will find, if you research with diligence, the price Americans pay for healthcare is already "taxing" beyond its effectiveness. You and yours would rather pay exorbitant prices for marginal healthcare quality and exclude those who could not afford the price of extortion. How quaint. I believe PPACA is the start not the finish. I believe there are real solutions to yet unknown issues. I believe you and yours will not be the source of any of those solutions.”
“Ya man. Look at the great good it has done in Detroit. And all that steel that isn't brought in from outside the country.
Ya and lets not forget those union pensions breaking the backs of cities and towns.
Unions are for those who only want to be as little as they have to be.”
“So do we get mandated health check ups?
With out them single payer does nothing for the health of the country.”
greytunes on Nov 30, 2013 at 17:01:16
“Single payer certainly makes it easier, and more convienient to get check ups. Will everybody partake? Probably not, but at least with single payer, the only things holding them back from good health checkups is common sense and air.”
“There are only a couple in congress who are doing what they promised, doing what their constituents ask of them and are no afraid of he status quo in Washington.
As for corrupt a democrat supporter has a arm length list of those.”
“Turn out was the only reason he is still president and the democrats kept the senate.
What the left does and does well is get out the message that it doesn't matter who you like it only matters you vote for who we have put in place for you to vote for. To top that off they will spend any amount of money to run make believe third party candidates to draw votes away from their challenger.
The Virginia Governors race is a clear example of it. They were supposed to win that election by double digits and only managed a 3% win. Hurting their want to be mandate in the state.
Republican, conservative, independent and libertarian voters need to realize that the democrats do not listen to their constituents. They do what they want.
So in the next two elections three things need to happen.
Turn out and vote. Even if it isn't the person you wanted there.
Let that person know what you expect. As often as needed.
Hold them to their promises.
And just in case. Gather as many as it takes to become one of the states demanding a constitutional convention of the states.
Yes it is possible to stop the federal government from the state level. Not easy but possible.”

“She will run???
So she lied again. Is that what you are saying?”
rmg21943 on Nov 29, 2013 at 19:06:12
“hillary clinton is NOT on the record anywhere stating she would
NOT be a candidate for the office of the US presidency in 2016?
the most she has said in is that she didn't think
she would run because she was tired from her duties as
Secretary of State and the concussion she suffered from a fall
due to a bout with the flu towards the end of her time at State.
she has always left the door open for a candidacy.”
“You are speaking apples to oranges now.
You start by comparing him to pay in the league and now talk of pay compared to other professions.
And for the record you will get no argument from me on athletes being over paid. That is why you won't find me spending my money on hat, shirts etc that have any logo college, pro, NASCAR etc.
It does nothing but promote the higher salaries along with people paying seat licensing fees, over priced tickets and parking fees.”
“she is not running for office in 2014. she is a likely candidate and
probable winner for the office of president of the US in 2016. the
woman referred to in my comment is kay hagen, presently a senator
from the state of NC, who is losing in polls due to the faulty
Obamacare rollout and confusion over the effects the program
is going to have on healthcare insurance of US citizens. it is my
contention that once the smoke clears people with recognize
the benefits of the program and people for the most part will
secure better and less expensive insurance. this will boost
her candidacy as the opposition she is encountering now is
mostly due to confusion and misunderstandings surrounding
the ACA, some of which have been deliberately promoted by
ACA opponents. her republican opponents for the office are neither
well known or beloved by the electorate.”
“the only thing that hurts her is the ACA and that will be resolved well
before the Nov 2014 elections. the republican opponents are non-
entities and the premise is they will be voting against her and not
FOR any of them. the ACA will be a great success nationwide by
then and be as indispensable and well loved as medicare or social
security, once that occurs, she is a shoe-in!”
