“That's what I thought, but this was a 1-0 count and his previous at bat ended on a one-pitch pop-up, four innings earlier. I suppose it could have fractured the bat on that pitch, but a batter knows when a bat's been damaged.”

“Pop ups are good at breaking bats, and he likely did not check because he ran to first. There is just no way that the bat was not cracked before he swung.”
“Uh-oh. So pathetic how he has to use extremism to make himself relevant.
Seems Mowrer is catching up to Punchline Steve. We might get this King de-throned yet.”

“The pathology of someone like King is that of a born groupie desperate to be part of the "in" crowd. By 2010, he would have been shoved to the outer by the GOP hierarchy but then the bright new up-and-comers were the tea party so he threw himself into emulating them. He's using extremism to make himself popular with the new "in" crowd little understanding that their star is on the wane. He is pathetic and none too bright.
More power to Mowrer! I'd dearly like to see this King dethroned.”
“Please tell me you're not really an education major.”

“That's a perfect picture. Yeah, for our senior prank, we took all the furniture out of one of the buildings and put in on the roof, seeded the field, and dyed the pool red with industrial food dye. It was pretty epic.”
“The fact that you are Christian does not preclude you from accepting scientific fact. Moreover, it should compel you to seek out science and truth so that you can have a deeper appreciation for the world God created.”
