“LePage surprises me as the first Republican to actually admit that global warming exists; then falls right back into GOP stereotype by seeing only a possible boost to his state's economy while ignoring the negative effects on its ecology.”

“Of course global warming exists. I am quite skeptical of the whole AGW alarmism movement but I will be happy to tell you it exists. It all depends on when you start your measurement from. If you start from the last ice age (about 18,000-12,000 years ago), the Earth has very certainly warmed. Or even since the mini-ice age (~1350-~1850) the Earth has warmed.
Of course there is global warming. And the climate has been changing since the Earth was first formed and always will be. So of course there is climate change. It may very well be that man has contributed in some small way to that.
However these larger natural change trends have certainly not all of the sudden halted themselves during the last 200 years. Surely you will agree to that, won't you?
Then the question becomes how much of this would have naturally happened if we weren't here. And unfortunately, the honest answer to that is that we don't know. Our climate science capabilities are just not sufficiently developed to answer that question.”
“In every film clip there are two men walking 20-odd feet apart, carrying backpacks. Seemingly unnoticed by the FBI, there is also a girl in a yellow sweater, walking some 20-odd feet behind suspect #2. She is also carrying a full backpack. I can't be the only one to notice this....”

“OH NO!!!...My WIFE wears a backpack every day. AND SHE JOGS! I NEVER SUSPECTED HER. You can't trust anyone.
What is this world coming to?”

“Because A LOT of people were wearing backpacks..its a marathon.. People wear backpacks to carry water and changes of clothes....thats why it was easy for the unsubs to carry a backpack unnoticed by the crowd.”
“I don't live in Vermont, and know nothing about Mr. Sanders, but his comments on the Fed are enough to make me very glad I'm an independent voter. People like him are the reason we all should vote our heads and not our partisanship.”
