“1. It was not until outside parties offered to pay for families to unite with their loved ones when they arrived. Did you already forget that ugly detail of the shut down?
2. The president did not identify him as such bills are being introduced to force the recognition of a terrorist act despite the white house objections.
3. I am referring to Obama's response during and after. As far as what was considered a priority for our consulates it was reported how efforts were made to make them comply to green initiatives as directed by the Obama administration. As for Bengazi that was Miss Clinton's directives and not something Stevens could do on his own.
4. In the Koran itself it allows such an action when it is defaced. As for our bibles it was done to satisfy regional Arabs who found offense to their distribution.
5. A special effort along with the announcement of such a desire is strange considering it is not necessary but the administration did so anyway.
6. I presented facts after you claimed I lied and everything can be found with a simple Google search. To call ME a bigot is then to call Obama one.”

“I will just address #3. First, Benghazi was not an embassy. It was a makeshift American diplomatic mission. Ambassador Stevens was involved with the request for further funds needed for security as well as he was knowledgeble with the outcome that congress turned the requests down. He, with all of his many years of experience, should have requested The Sec of State, his boss to close down the mission as it was unsafe. Even after warnings about an imminent attack, WHY WAS THE UNSAFE diplomatic mission not shut down? It should have been closed down right after the funding was refused. Pres Obama has people with delegated powers. You, as a citizen, should not blame him for everything. You should not criticize every little move that a president makes. He is the one who has taken us out of a severe recession caused by GWBush. Why do you not criticize Bush for all the things such as bad unemployment? A huge economic downfall is not easy to overcome. Obama cancelled the laws/tax codes that favored companies employing foreigners overseas. The experts say it takes 10 yrs, more likely many more yrs to get of a severe recession.”
“Here is just a sample; Osama Bin Ladin was given special consideration in handling his remains while Obama could not even grant the loved ones of our soldiers to see them when their remains were returned. The Fort Hood shooter was never called a terrorist even after his conviction thus denying his victims proper compensation. He has lied repeatedly about the incident in Bengazi even going so far as the UN and making commercials apologizing for a video. He also apologized and punished those who burned the Koran even though it was proven it was being used by detainees for coded messages but said nothing about our bibles and their treatment. He made special attempts at recruiting Muslims for NASA for no reason. Never once did his Arab spring proclamations ever condemn the brutal murders and rapes against Christians by Muslims. Please show me one example of his actions towards any other group that even comes close.”
jaguara777 on Nov 2, 2013 at 18:08:24
“1. "the loved ones of our soldiers to see them when their remains were returned" who is "them" I assume you mean bodies or remains. All of identified remains are returned to loved ones.
2.I remember articles written about the Fort Hood shooter that said he was a supporter of terrorists.
3. Benghazi did not have enough security and Congress turned down funding of more security more than once. If you want to blame someone for Benghazi, blame Congress. You can also blame the experience Ambassador Stevens and the state dept for not closing down Benghazi after the security refusal and after warnings about an attack.
4. bibles anyones' bibles whose books are burned is wrong.
5. What is wrong with any religion working for NASA?as long as the pass investigation.
6. all of your examples show that you are a bigot.”

“What you might consider when scolding those who see countries like Denmark get such high marks for their approach in happiness is their selfish nature to it. Nothing about this gave any consideration as to a nations ability to make others happy or better their situation in order that they can find peace. Considering how the United States is often not only the first but gives the most when ever another country is in need should account for something. Given that we routinely send billions of dollars in aid, food and offer medical supplies with out the least bit of fanfare or expectation for anything in return should go a long way in taking away so many miseries. When disaster strikes we are there no matter if it is an earth quake, tsunami, hurricane, volcano etc.. While the Danish may offer some form of help it is no where near the cost in treasure and labor this country has provided. It is not arrogant to be proud and to say another is ignorant when the whole truth is not told is being foolish and dishonest.”

“I'll condense this for you: I am TOTALLY proud to be AMERICAN !! We remain the greatest (all things considered) nation on earth......possibly in history. However, that does NOT mean there aren't areas in which we may improve. To assume EVERYTHING we do is better than anyone else is blindness.”
“You really need to READ the constitution not imagine what it says. The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. See U.S. Const. amend. I. Freedom of expression consists of the rights to freedom of speech, press, assembly and to petition the government for a redress of grievances, and the implied rights of association and belief. The Supreme Court interprets the extent of the protection afforded to these rights. The First Amendment has been interpreted by the Court as applying to the entire federal government even though it is only expressly applicable to Congress. Furthermore, the Court has interpreted, the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment as protecting the rights in the First Amendment from interference by state governments. See U.S. Const. amend. XIV.
In short the constitution are laws governing the government. If it were a guarantee then who is making such a promise and who enforces them? The perception that your right to speech is also a right to be heard is false. Lies and distortions are grounds for legal action but applying your understanding they would be protected. You fail to see limitations as it is freedom and so it has no such restrictions. If it were so then how would we know what is true as any allegation to it being wrong would never be considered because it was constitutionally protected.”
“When you assume any place of authority you must understand it's limitations as well as it's influence and power. While the constitution recognizes everyone's right to free speech it does not guarantee it in every and all circumstances. Like yelling fire in a theater you can not be so flagrant as to what is said nor ignore it's consequences. Your rights do not trump another's.”
“Their are several reasons this is more than someone's freedom of speech. For one his chosen occupation involves speech and the conveyance of ideas. Another is his position as a teacher and authority figure. For those reasons alone his need to exercise judgment in public matters holds him to a higher standard something the university understands as they insist on codes of conduct.”
LXIX-KC on Oct 26, 2013 at 08:01:47
“The Constitution of The United States makes NO mention or requirement to a "higher standard" of ones occupation, social status, life style, eye or hair color etc... It STATES that FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS GUARANTEED The professor did not scream fire when there no fire in a theater, he not defame KU by his freedom of speech or expression!! He simply stated his beliefs!! We fought a war to have the right of FREEDOM OF SPEECH, I'm will to fight another to guarantee the professor's or ANYONE'S right to speak as freely as she/he desires!!”

“I don't care what position ANYONE in America holds, to quash their RIGHT TO EXPRESS THEIR OPINIONS FREELY VIOLATES THE CONSTITUTION!”
“So in your opinion they have been fully accountable and have held those responsible for wrongs and have taken all the necessary steps to make corrections. You do not feel you have been lied to, deceived, and have had your hard earned money that was confiscated through taxes spent wisely. If this is so please give me ONE example to validate your ideas. This should be easy for someone who deals in facts as you pretend to.”
“Time after time this administration has not been accountable on anything they are responsible for. This is true of the entire government and for past administrations. They have lied, been deceitful, sneaky and that is not when they are blatantly stealing from us with absolutely no concern for how the citizenry feel. They do not see the American people as the ones THEY work for but rather see the public as something to control and take from. It is time taxes are with held from them and refusal to acknowledge the authority they have created for themselves. While this may not happen now it will when enough have had enough and certainly when no more can be stolen. The day is soon coming when the little man will make our elected leaders "good elected leaders."”

“Wonderful life in the conservative bubble, eh? Fact-free existence....”
“In everything I said backed up the truth about the bible. In everything the bible says it does not need to be rewritten to go along with current thinking. What I was attempting to do was answer your statement that religion to be reevaluated as science does.”
DonaldKKinge on Oct 20, 2013 at 20:56:05
“Religion is tautological though...therefore evidence is irrelevant to anything it tries to "argue." Again, I'm not saying it's "stupid" - people choose hundreds or thousands of different ways of organizing their lives. But if you're using a scientific way of understanding the world then the Bible has no place in that. If you want to use religious principles to organize your world that's fine - but it's not scientific.
I'm also not sure what that last sentence means; I think you're missing a key word but I'm not sure which one.”
“So to continue with a flawed plan that is clearly not working is preferred to what we had? Actually the republicans have agreed to various parts that are worth considering but that hardly is a green light on the overwhelming mistakes this mess is littered with.”
“How is it the left instantly accuse someone who is not in favor of liberal ideas as being a republican supporter? I am just as disgusted with that party as well. In fact I see very little difference as they both are only interested in enriching themselves. They divide and conquer with very little concern for who they are supposed to be actually working for.
Reading the instructions is obviously not the problem as so many have found out.
On your comment concerning when the individual mandate takes effect it will no doubt penalize you for not having coverage starting January 1. Do not think for a second you have until December 31 to enroll. As an example consider not having auto insurance for even a few days what does the dept. of motor vehicle think about that?”
chasborg on Oct 21, 2013 at 15:59:27
“I didn't say you were a Republican, but you did use John Boehners description of Obamacare. There is a major difference between the parties. If the Republicans had their way there would be no Medicare, just a voucher system and Social Secutity would be privatized. The Democrats have prevented that. I can't argue with you about politicians wanting to enrich themselves, that's just human nature.”
“6 month sign up period? How does that work when their is a penalty if you are not insured when you file your income taxes? Can't they even get the rhetoric of their own mandates forced upon middle class Americans right? And to say under 30% are in favor of totally eliminating all of this is a not so clever way of not disclosing the entire truth. The majority agree the health care system needs changes but if asked if this was the best solution I doubt very few would endorse all that has been put into this train wreck of a law.”
chasborg on Oct 20, 2013 at 13:55:25
“Read the instructions again. Slowly. Then you'll understand them better. Looks like you're a fan of John Boehner. You used his description of Obamacare. (Train wreck) While you're at it, stop and think. What have the Republicans ever done for you? The answer is nothing. So what makes you think they're doing something for you now? Obamacare isn't perfect, nothing is, but it is a step in the right direction. Just one piece of information. The indivual mandate takes effect in 2014. You don't file your 2014 taxes until 2015.”

“Never been hateful towards you or anyone else. Just because I voice an opinion that differs from you one that insists on individual responsibility and am unwavering in my religious belief you choose to view it and respond with contempt. You have been too happy in your pursuit of harassment with out any constructive comments or basis for your belief. Find someone else to bother as I am no longer wasting my time with some who takes such pleasure while cowardly hiding behind some idea they see hate in disagreement.”

“Every comment you have ever made has been filled with hate and offer nothing to the subjects discussed. How pathetic your life must be for it to desire following others who you do not agree with in the hopes to make some empty childish remark. I have not been disrespectful nor rude to you in any way but your however insist on harassing me with your negative attacks. I have no problem with counter view points or in discussing my reasons on a matter that may be different from how others see it but you offer no such dialog. I do not view this site to be abused but to hear from others who are like me, only interested in sharing ideas. With every message you send it is more evidence of a small one dimensional mind that enjoys bothering others and nothing more. Any further communications to me will not be answered but will instead be forwarded to the moderator along with your earlier rants of hate. Understand this for all your postings it has proven my points far more than detracted me from them and has done little more than shown a side those who disagree with me wish was not so public.”

“Sorry, responding to a hate-filled person just does that to me....”
“For religion to be equal to science they must both share the same procedures. For example religion will then need to use theory and speculation to arrive at a plausible truth. For science's part it then must employ faith to establish meaning and deeper understanding. In a way many do see science as a kind of religion as so many have so much faith in it. As for religion not having any scientific value consider books like Proverbs that demonstrate cause and effect and is a guide to social interaction. People and places mentioned in the bible have been found to be factually correct. Prophecies have also shown themselves accurate in their details and outcomes. Like science the bible gives timelines for such things as genecology and history. Other sciences like military and political as well as law is also included. But unlike science the bible openly states it does not require reevaluating as it continuously vindicates its self and further proves its correctness. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Science however rewrites its self due to errors that are more fantasy than real.”

“How about Nazareth...where was it? Josephus who was in command of an army that crisscrossed the area in question many times gives the names of dozens if not hundreds of towns and cities but never mentions a town or city with that name
Not a single word on this being outside the gospels in the entire first century, a couple of interpolated items by Josephus around the year 95 of the current era.. Now there were people recording the everyday life in Judea at the time and not one word about this man his teachings or his death and resurrection or the massive earthquakes and Jewish zombies walking about jerusalem for weeks and the sun apparently standing still in the sky..No just mythology made history to please the masses and that is all...Good Day”

“The only ones still seeing the earth as flat are those who look to the faithful and believe that is how they think. Because proof exists that it is not believers in God do not hold to incorrect ideas. But until proof can be shown that man came from apes and God does not exist it is foolish to believe such statements just because some find it popular to do so.”
