“Well- his undergrad work was at Harvard as well- one of the nation's premier liberal arts institutions. But I get your point- if the purpose of education is to open one up to alternative thinking, or to provide a more global perspective, or to get persons in touch with the deeper values inherent in a diverse, democratic, market based society. But- if one erects high walls around one's learning with carefully controlled gates then little of that will get through. In this case he is using his education to undermine the very values that harvard seeks to propagate.”

“Separation of church and state is EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID. FREEDOM OF RELIGION NOT FROM RELIGION. The founding fathers came here for freedom so the Church of England couldn't rule thier lives. That is exactly what it means: State cannot trump religion as it has been doing. Get it RIGHT.”
