“No, that is not the case. Like many others I was “outsourced” at work. I am just making it as things are right now. One major medical problem and it would be the end of my stash money. Life is a balancing act.
That doesn’t mean that this program is worth the paper that it is written on. Would it help ME? Yes it would, I just think that it is not the answer for America. If I was ME ME ME as you suggest then I would just say and write nothing and go about living my life.
I think America deserves better. I write my elected representatives, read untruths about me, such as yours and make my opinion known and heard. It is the American way, it is the way that I have always been.
You have a different opinion, express it. Please spend your time doing that and not making inaccurate assumptions about others that feel differently than you do. All any of us has is an opinion.

I pay taxes to the government because it is the law and it is to everyone’s benefit. I will not pay “taxes” to a private corporation because a bunch of government employees WITH healthcare insurance (mostly funded by the government) say I must.
I am 100% for a Canadian type program and 100% against this SELLOUT

Think on this. 65% of all the folks who have lost their homes and gone bankrupt, have been put in that position because of medical bills and - THEY HAD MEDICAL INSURANCE.
I hope you told your insurance provider if you had acne as a teenager, or you had migraines years ago, or that you had a child by cesarean section - because these are only three of HUNDREDS of reasons why people who had paid their medical insurance, in full, on time for years - only to have benefits refused for a pre-existing condition.

“I think it is a great idea that you should have the right not to have health coverage. I also think a law should be passed that made it a crime for any health care provider to treat a person without coverage. Seems like a fair deal since those of us with coverage end up paying the healthcare costs of those without coverage..”
