To neaten an unsightly jumble of cords on the floor of your office, bundle loose cords together using plastic cord ties. Or improvise with what you have around the house such as pipe cleaners, twist ties, or rubber bands. Color code plugs and cords with colored stick-on file labels and matching sticker dots to make it easy to identify and reconnect equipment. Use cord concealers to corral and hide cords. If you want to make them disappear altogether, use strips of Velcro to attach a surge protector and the accompanying bundled wires to the underside of your desk.
