What words would you use to describe this peacock?

Take a moment and write down all of the adjectives that come to mind.

Is your description flattering? Inflammatory? Indifferent?

If I were to guess, you could easily conjure up a series of positive things to say about this image.

Look into the closest mirror. See that person looking back at you? Do the same exercise, writing down all of the positive things you see reflected back at you.

The difference between you and this peacock?

This peacock knows that he is AMAZING. He has an awareness of his own brilliance. He isn't trying to imitate a lion. That would be awkward. He isn't trying to be the BEST peacock, he's just being himself, unapologetically. He doesn't have a head full of limitations, judgements or poor opinions about him. He's not lacking confidence and he's not bloated with it either. He's simply living as the beautiful peacock that he is.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us."

-- Marianne Williamson, Return to Love

Are you letting yourself fully shine? Are fully radiating -- AS YOU. When you do, you are accepting of every aspect of yourself. You celebrate being the introvert or the leader, without judgment or thought that you should be anything other than who you are.

Where have you been holding yourself back, fearing what others will say or think of you or only focusing on your "flaws"? Are you avoiding taking the stage or the spotlight. Are you wanting to avoid being the attention that comes with shining?

STOP IT!

Stop that chatter. That's the Itty Bitty Shitty Committee talking! THAT is exactly how you stay stuck.

ALLOW YOURSELF TO SHINE!

Allow your brilliance to be seen! Allow your voice to be heard. The world is waiting for YOUR unique gifts! Give yourself permission to be MORE of you, unapologetically! Will you stop hiding behind the chatter of your Itty Bitty Shitty Committee?

This week's challenge -- submit the article you've been putting off, share openly about a core belief, make a statement with your friends and loved ones. Declare what you're no longer willing to hold in. Let it out -- LET YOURSELF SHINE! Proudly be your own version of the PEACOCK! OWN IT!

And share with us. We want to know what happens in your world as a result of inviting your inner brilliance to be expressed.
