A hot bath after a long day or a strenuous workout at night can be very rejuvenating. But what kind of bubble bath should you use? Should I use one? What if you take baths every day to unwind? Isn't every day too much?

Every day might very well be too much if you are using shampoos, bubble soups and other cleaning liquids that destroy the pH level of your skin.

Our skin is a very delicate system. It does not just absorb but also well detoxifies our system. As we age, [of course I am not:)] our skin gradually thins and becomes more sensitive.

Unusual solutions:

You can buy creams with rosemary, cinnamon, green tea, peppermint or blueberry extract and what else is out there. All of that I have mentioned have anti-inflammatory properties or help to nurture your skin.

Instead of a bubble bath, why not add those herbs yourself? Take twigs of rosemary, a cinnamon stick and four teabags to your liking. I use blueberry tea, green tea or peppermint tea.

Place them in your hot bath, and let it soak for 15 minutes before diving in.

This will relax you after a long day, help your muscles if you have just worked out and will give your skin an opportunity to absorb healthy elements.

Enjoy,

Stefan
