Across the world many are pausing to commemorate World AIDS Day. It is estimated that 1 in 5 people who have HIV/AIDS. Those stats are both saddening and alarming. What is even more alarming is that the National AIDS Trust based in the UK recently posted that 80% of the time when people use the word AIDS on Twitter it is as an insult. With the increased use of social media by Millennials I decided to conduct my own research to see just exactly how many Millennials view HIV/AIDS as told by memes:
