Look I agree it's an odd statement, probably done more for his family than anybody, but your assumption that"we don't love most of the people we have sex with" is not necessarily true for all people or even all men.I mean that's an odd statement to make also.

And she did do work for the money. I think they couldn't be used because they showed too much of a window into their relationship--if he hired her and then they began the affair, it's not unlike people beginning affairs with their employees."

Advertising is a fair use of campaign money I think.

That's an excellent point--we have gone from the "prostitution of the political process" to the "politicization of prostitution." Or is it the other way around? Or does it become a positive feedback loop in both directions?
