My life changed forever because of a TV show.

I was right in the middle of a fairly boring summer job in college.
Gradually, I had been getting to know the entire staff, but especially one girl who I often ended up working with.
One particular Friday, she introduced me to the show Super Soul Sunday on OWN.

The first episode I ever watched was Oprah's interview with Maya Angelou.
Talk about epic.
The second was Iyanla Vanzant.
And I was hooked.

That show was my introduction to a whole new world of spirituality.
It led to me attending Oprah's live event, meeting Jordan Bach, deciding to commit my life to spiritual work.
I literally would not be here today if it were not for that TV show and what it did for my life.

Why do I bring this up?
Because TV gets a bad wrap with a lot of people.

"Spiritual" people don't want to have their energy polluted by watching TV.
Millennials supposedly only watch Netflix now, and live TV is a dying industry.
Entrepreneurs loudly preach that TV is a big distraction and waste of time that will hold you back.

Well, here's my truth:

My life changed forever because of a TV show.
And one day, I'm going to have a TV show of my own.
The talk show I was born to have.
One that makes you laugh and makes you cry and changes your life.
Which will also happen to be the number one syndicated show in America.

OWN YOUR DESTINY.

Maybe your message is different from everybody else's.
GOOD.
Maybe your strategy is considered bizarre and unconventional by the people in your industry.
FANTASTIC.
Maybe you don't play by the rules that everybody else seems to take for granted.
THANK GOD.
Those are the only kinds of people I ever want to work with.

We need you to be you.

When I started coaching, I refused to limit myself down to one particular niche.
Everybody said I needed to do that.
Learn the age, gender, location, favorite brands, etc etc etc of my ideal client.
But I instinctively knew:
MY MESSAGE IS MY NICHE.

People respond to my energy.
People relate to my truth.
People receive my work because it changes their lives and gets them results like nothing else ever did.

I'm unspeakably thankful I never abandoned that.
My calling.
My purpose.
My destiny.

This is your permission slip to be you,
to embrace every single one of your dreams,
to own your destiny to the fullest.

Break the rules.
Surprise everyone.
Prove them wrong.
Do what people said couldn't be done.
Create the life you imagine.

I believe in you.
And I am living proof that
what you dream inside can be real.

Whose life is going to be changed by YOU?
