I was listening to the webcast of the hearings on Russ Feingold's censure resolution, and Jane Harman's got some 'splainin to do...How in the world could she keep still about Bush's secret intercepts for so long? And if she was misled by the Administration, when's she planning to say so?
Here's my reaction -- when her constituents find out, and they are reminded about Harman's vote in favor of the war, Marcy Winograd's gonna upset her in the June primary.
I thought Senator Feingold did a good job, and I'm grateful that at least one Democrat stood up for him -- thank you, Senator Leahy!
But it's not too reassuring when our side can't muster up more backbone than a former Nixon lawyer (John Dean) and a former Reagan lawyer (Bruce Fein).
They were pretty good -- but where were the non-Leahy Dems?
Bush & Cheney are spying on us. It's wrong! Duh.
