How I Would Solve the Debt Ceiling Crisis

This is what I think we should do to solve the debt crisis:
  1. End the two wars; we can't afford them. If these wars are so important, other countries will pitch in.
  2. Let the Bush tax cuts expire next year; our economy was healthier before these cuts were enacted.
  3. Face reality and reduce the entitlement programs commensurate with revenue; see also other recommendations for USA Inc. by Mary Meeker

How hard is that?
