Palin to Pull Out of VP Debate: Refuses to Participate Until Bailout of Couric Interview Is Negotiated

Early today, the McCain Campaign put out a release stating that Republican vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, will not be showing up for Thursday's VP debate in St. Louis.

"Governor Palin will be taking the first plane back to CBS and will stay there until she is able to come up with a bailout of the interview she did with CBS anchor, Katie Couric.

"It seems someone has that interview went on for days," said Plain spokesman, Tucker Bounds. "Just as soon as they finish airing one segment, another one starts rolling around the Internet. Governor Palin is running for Vice President, not YouTube viral joke of the day. At least not on purpose."
