During my 20-plus years as a travel writer and photographer, Apple has played an important role in my adventures, both on the road and back at home.
These days, I travel with a MacBook Air, which accompanies me everywhere.
Like millions of other Apple-a-day fans, I was saddened by the passing of Steve Jobs.
Here are some of the places around the world where Mac has been by my side. Although the visionary and creative genius left us too soon, Apple will live on -- and help travelers along the way.
