A storied lodge at the National Park was consumed by a blaze this past week.
Resources to fight the fires and support the evacuees are stretched thin, said Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe.

WHAT'S HAPPENING
The young men now face a maximum of 30 days in jail if convicted of causing the Table Rock State Park wildfire.
"Helene just dropped tons of fuel on the ground," one expert said. “Then these flash droughts allow that fuel to dry out very fast.”
The death toll included a pilot who died after a helicopter crashed during efforts to contain wildfires in one of the areas hardest-hit.
Emergency crews in at least three states are battling small wildfires.
