The first visit of C.S. Lee -- popularly known as Vince Masuka from the American TV show Dexter -- to Israel, was an inspiring one for the Korean-American actor.

Yet Another Ridiculous 'Dexter' Twist

There's only one episode of "Dexter" left and as Showtime's serial killer thriller races to the finish line, a couple of things seem clear: Dexter Morgan is deluding himself if he thinks he's actually going to escape to a happy ending in Argentina, and the show's writing is turning "Dexter" into an unintentional comedy.

The 'Dexter' Twist We Kind Of Saw Coming

If last week's "Dexter" felt like an "Are we there yet?" car trip, "Make Your Own Kind of Music" announced that Dexter's end-game was very much in motion. The Brain Surgeon has been revealed ... and he's Vogel's son! And as the final scene showed, Dexter's spiritual mother chose her deranged biological progeny over her perfect pupil.

Seriously, 'Are We There Yet'?

A few threads are starting to connect, with Dexter's inner circle under attack and his apartment complex under siege. There's still time for "Dexter" to pull off a great ending, even if parts of this season have felt like a long road trip.

With Friends Like These ...

There's another showdown looming between Hannah and Deb, and it's going to get really ugly. Deb seems more jealous that Dexter is still in love with Hannah than she is that that Hannah has now drugged her twice.

With Dexter and Deb finally at peace, this episode of "Dexter" felt like it was was back in its comfort zone, which proves the week-old television maxim: If you want to pull a show out of a rut, sometimes you have to drive into a lake.

Deb Goes Over The Edge Again

It doesn't get more bizarrely, out-of-nowhere-climactic than the end of tonight's "Dexter." I'm betting that some will see Deb's insane moment as another example of "Dexter" jumping the shark.

Oh, Deb. Poor Deb. Her character's roller-coaster ride of guilt and self-destruction reached rock bottom this week. The final season of "Dexter" has to move past Deb's downward spiral and her threatening to turn both herself and her brother in, right?

Well, "Dexter" fans, we've got another serial killer on our hands. In a classic example of youngest child syndrome, Deb the Bounty Hunter is on a killing spree now too, because who wants to let their older brother have all the fun?

Dexter Season Finale Delivers a Solid WTF?!

All in all I liked this season of Dexter but thought that the writers just threw too much at us. I know they're trying to set up next season for the series finale, but they did it at the expense of some solid storytelling.

The episode started with Dexter in love, imagining a future with Hannah and contemplating hanging up his knives after one final cathartic kill that would have brought his murdering days full circle.

'Dexter' Pivots Towards The End-Game

With this season's "Big Bad" Isaak Circo killed off and the Deb-Dexter incest weirdness temporarily put to rest, this week's episode seemed to pivot towards the season's -- and perhaps the series' -- eventual end-game, setting up a few new dynamics.

An episode after the writers of "Dexter" pulled out the incest card, they pretty much ran away from that storyline. There was still some weird tension between the foster siblings, which they handled with awkward jokes and strained small talk.

"Argentina" felt like a soapy step back for the show, which has been rejuvenated in its seventh season thanks to the push-and-pull between Deb and Dexter that's been focusing on how she would handle learning he's serial killer.

Well, "Dexter" was bound to come to this sooner or later. it's hard for a serial killer who only kills serial killers to find true love without his Homicide Lieutenant sister asking him to kill his new murderer girlfriend.

LaGuerta decided to take another look at some open cases in her Bay Harbor Butcher investigation. She noticed there was something that didn't quite add up about the Barrel Girls killings, and after she told Deb about her theory, Deb quickly figured out that Dexter was responsible.

After spending the first quarter of the season struggling to figure out how a brother and sister team comprised of Homicide Lieutenant and a serial killer who only kills serial killers can coexist, Dexter and Deb forged their own code in this episode.

"Dexter" finally put something significant on the table in its Season 6 finale, and not just the Doomsday Killer Travis Marshall. Colin Hank's religious murderer did meet his fate, like so many other 'Dexter' villains before him, but the really pivotal development of the finale was Deb finally learning the truth about her adopted brother (who she's apparently in love with). Now that she witnessed one of Dexter's kills, the show can never be the same, and that's a very good thing.
